An aspect of the present invention is a control device for performing travel control of a work machine, the work machine executes work while traveling in a work region based on a reference line, and the control device comprises a setting unit that sets a distance from the reference line, a first control unit that controls the work machine to travel along a first virtual line, the first virtual line being a virtual line away from the reference line on one side, a second control unit that controls the work machine to travel along a second virtual line, the second virtual line being a virtual line away from the reference line on another side, and a selection unit that selects one of the control by the first control unit and the control by the second control unit.

Automatic work system and turning method therefor, and self-moving device

An automatic working system, a turning method thereof, and a self-moving device. When the self-moving device reaches a boundary, a control module controls a movement module to turn to leave the boundary. In addition, the control module may control, based on coverage values corresponding to each movement range when the self-moving device reaches the boundary, the movement module to turn to a movement range with a coverage value that meets a preset requirement.

Method for operating a gardening appliance, and gardening appliance

A gardening appliance has a traction drive system with a clutch, an electric motor drive system and a user-triggerable signalling device. The electric motor drive system effects forward rotation and backward rotation of the clutch. An operating method includes: a) in a user-triggered manner, operating the electric motor drive system in a running-down and/or braking operating mode to lower a motor rotational speed of the forward-rotating electric motor drive system; b) acquiring whether a back electromotive force caused by the electric motor drive system satisfies a standstill criterion, wherein the standstill criterion is characteristic of an attainment of a standstill state of the electric motor drive system; and c) when the standstill criterion is satisfied, operating the electric motor drive system in a backward-rotation operating mode to effect the backward rotation of the electric motor drive system for disengaging the clutch for freewheeling operation.

Autonomous travel working machine and charging station

In a lawn mower, one power receiving terminal is provided on a surface of the lawn mower, and the other power receiving terminal is disposed in a position where it sandwiches at least a part, such as the upper front portion, of a vehicle body with the one power receiving terminal. This configuration serves to suppress a situation in which moisture establishes electrical continuity between the pair of power receiving terminals.

Lawn care vehicle control lever adjustment assembly

An adjustment assembly for adjusting a position of one of a pair of steering levers of a riding lawn care vehicle that has first and second drive wheels may include a sleeve, a base portion and a rotatable adjuster. The steering levers may be operably coupled to respective ones of the first and second drive wheels to selectively control the riding lawn care vehicle based on drive speed control of the first and second drive wheels responsive to positioning of the steering levers along forward and rearward directions. The sleeve may be operably coupled to one of the steering levers and the base portion may be operably coupled to the sleeve via a pivot coupling. The pivot coupling is configured to reposition the sleeve relative to the base portion along the forward and rearward directions responsive to operation of the rotatable adjuster to define non-discrete fixing relationships between the sleeve and the base portion along the forward and rearward directions.

Centrifugal clutch mechanisms

Centrifugal clutch mechanisms, and transmissions and lawnmowers having centrifugal clutch mechanisms are provided. A centrifugal clutch mechanism includes a clutch bell comprising an annular wall and a circular ring extending away from the annular wall to define an internal cavity, wherein the circular ring comprises an inward facing surface defining a drive surface. The centrifugal clutch mechanism also includes a plurality of centrifugal weights disposed in the internal cavity and an inward biasing element engaged with the centrifugal weights. The inward biasing element biases the centrifugal weights towards a disengaged position in which the centrifugal weights do not interface with drive surface, and upon application of a sufficient centrifugal force, the centrifugal weights are configured to transition to an engaged position in which the centrifugal weights interface with the drive surface.
