Resin composition
The resin composition of the present invention comprises 40 to 98 parts by mass of a modified starch (A), 2 to 60 parts by mass of a polyvinyl alcohol (B) having a degree of saponification of 75.0 mol % or more, and optionally a clay (C), wherein the total content of the (A), (B) and (C) is 100 parts by mass, and the peak temperature of tan in measurement of dynamic viscoelasticity in a range of 20 C. to 150 C. is 128 C. or lower.
Laminate molding system, method for controlling laminate molding system, and method for manufacturing laminate molded article
A laminate molding system in which three or more press devices are continuously provided and a laminate molded article is sequentially pressure-molded. The laminate molding system includes first, second and third press devices. The first press device includes a pressure reducable chamber and a pressurizing surface formed of an elastic body sheet or a pressurizing surface formed of an elastic body sheet, the laminate molded article being pressurized by a driving force of a servomotor. The second press device includes a pressurizing surface formed of a metal press plate, the laminate molded article being pressurized by a driving force of a servomotor. The third press device includes a pressurizing surface formed of a metal press plate, the laminate molded article being pressurized by a driving force of a servomotor.
Polyester film and method for producing same
A polyester film comprises a polyester (A) composed mainly of polybutylene terephthalate and a polyester (B) composed mainly of polyethylene terephthalate, wherein a mass ratio (A/B) between the polyesters (A) and (B) is 70/30 to 55/45, a dry heat shrinkage rate (A) through heat treatment at 160 C. for 30 minutes is 20% or less in any of four directions on a film surface (0, 45, 90 and 135), a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of these dry heat shrinkage rates is 5% or less, a dry heat shrinkage rate (B) through heat treatment at 200 C. for 15 minutes is 35% or less in any of the four directions, a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of these dry heat shrinkage rates is 5% or less, and a thickness variation in the four directions is 10% or less.
Foaming mixture dispensing apparatus and method
An adjustable distributor apparatus (10) for dispensing a foam forming mixture comprising a main body (20) and adjustment plate, the main body featuring at least one inlet, one channel, and one outlet, the inlet, channel and outlet in fluid connection such that a fluid may pass through the inlet into the channel and exit from the channel through the outlet, and the outlet being coupled with at least one adjustment plate (40), the adjustment plate featuring at least a first face, a second face opposing the first face, and an outlet hole, enabling a seal between either the outlet of the main body or the second face of a second adjustment plate, and the outlet hole extending from the first face to the second face by way of a fluid connection through the adjustment plate.
Container and method of manufacture
A method includes injection molding a preform using a two phase injection system having a first phase in which a material is injected into the preform and a second phase in which the material is injected into the preform. The preform is disposed in a mold. The preform is blow molded into an intermediate article. The intermediate article is trimmed to form a finished container. The first phase includes injecting a material into the preform to form a single layer of the preform and the second phase includes injecting the material to form inner and outer layers and an intermediate layer between the inner and outer layers. The inner and outer layers include the material and the intermediate layer includes at least one additive. Finished containers are disclosed.
Multi-layer polymer foam film for packaging applications and the method of making the same
A multilayer foam film suitable for direct and non-direct food contact and aseptic packaging application is disclosed.
Multilayer fluidic devices and methods for their fabrication
A fluidic device including an inorganic solid support attached to an organic solid support by a bonding layer, wherein the inorganic solid support has a rigid structure and wherein the bonding layer includes a material that absorbs radiation at a wavelength that is transmitted by the inorganic solid support or the organic solid support; and a channel formed by the inorganic solid support and the organic solid support, wherein the bonding layer that attaches the inorganic solid support to the organic solid support provides a seal against liquid flow. Methods for making fluidic devices, such as this, are also provided.
Resin formed article and method for producing resin formed article
A resin formed article, comprising a main body that includes a first resin; a functional layer that is disposed at at least a portion of a surface of the main body and includes a fiber and a second resin; and a projection that is disposed on the functional layer and includes the first resin and the second resin.
