A dual-bearing reel is described. A clutch mechanism transmits and interrupts the rotational force of the reel handle to the reel spool. A clutch-operating member is movably supported by the reel body between a first position and a second position, and is biased toward the first position. A clutch control mechanism includes a clutch cam that rotates only in one direction each time the clutch-operating member moves from the first to the second position. The clutch control mechanism alternately switches the clutch mechanism to the transmitting state and the interrupting state by rotation of the clutch cam. A clutch return mechanism returns the clutch to the transmitting state by rotation of the handle when the clutch mechanism is in the interrupting state. A regulating member regulates operation of the clutch return mechanism when the clutch mechanism is in the interrupting state by movement of the clutch-operating member.

A retractable fishing line spooler for mounting on a building wall or a boat surface. The spooler is positioned on a lever arm held on a mounting body. The lever arm is retracted to be in line with the mounting body when not in use and pulled partially away from the mounting body when in use for spooling fishing line. A ball bearing-and-spring locking mechanism and a pin hold the lever arm in place on the mounting body.

A handle assembly of a spinning reel is configured to be integrally rotatable with a drive shaft of the spinning reel. The handle assembly includes a shaft member, a handle arm, a tubular member, and an annular elastic member. The shaft member is configured to be integrally rotatable with the drive shaft. The handle arm is coupled to the shaft member. The tubular member is disposed between the drive shaft and the handle arm on the outer periphery of the shaft member in order to position the handle arm with respect to the drive shaft. The line winder is a machine for preventing reverse winding and tangling, where a base of the fishing line winder is provided with a shaft, and a driving member drives the shaft to rotate, while a spindle is provided with a line spool, an abutment wheel and an unidirectional bearing; a resistance against the rotation of the abutment wheel is formed by means of a brake pad, thus preventing reverse winding and tangling when the fishing line is reeled onto and unreeled from the line reel.
