FISHING REEL AND BATTERY BOX
A fishing reel of the present invention comprises includes a battery box that accommodates a replaceable battery, a clutch mechanism comprising a clutch operation member that switches a spool between a free rotation state and a fishing line winding state, and a clutch position detection unit that determines whether the clutch mechanism is in an ON state or an OFF state. The clutch position detection unit comprises a magnet held by a holding member that is movable integrally with the clutch operation member, and a clutch detection sensor that detects the magnet, and the clutch detection sensor is accommodated in the battery box.
Handle knob for a fishing reel
A handle knob for a fishing reel is mounted on a knob shaft to be rotatable about an axis of the knob shaft, and is fixed to an operation body rotatably combined with a reel body. The handle knob includes an inner knob, an outer knob integrally formed therewith, and bearings having an inner ring fitted to the outer surface of the knob shaft and an outer ring fitted to the inner surface of the inner knob, and that rotatably support the inner knob on the knob shaft about the axis. The inner knob includes a bearing surface with which the outer ring contacts, and the bearing surface including a through-hole having an opening in the bearing surface while penetrating the inner knob in a radial direction and through which an insertion portion of the outer knob is inserted.
Spinning reel
A spinning reel that forwardly releases a fishing line includes a reel unit, a handle, a drive shaft, a joint structure, and a rotation transmission mechanism. The handle includes a handle shaft and a handle arm, the handle shaft is rotatably supported by the reel unit at a first position, and the handle arm is mounted to the handle shaft and is unitarily rotatable with the handle shaft. The handle arm extends in a radial direction from a rotational axis of the handle shaft. The drive shaft includes a first end and a second end disposed opposite to the first end, and is rotatably supported by the reel unit at a second position different from the first position. The joint structure joins the handle shaft and the drive shaft, and the handle shaft is unitarily rotatable with the drive shaft.
Bowfishing reel
A fishing reel that may be used in connection with bowfishing is disclosed having a housing with a generally cylindrical first portion with an aperture disposed about a center top portion of the cylindrical first portion. The housing has a generally cylindrical second portion disposed about a bottom of the first portion. The second portion of the housing has an outer perimeter that is less than an outer perimeter of the first portion of the housing. A crank arm is disposed about a side of the housing, said crank arm having a mount that is disposed perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the housing. A handle is disposed about a bottom of the second portion, said handle having a post disposed coaxial with a center of the aperture and a grip coupled to the post and disposed perpendicular to the post.
Dual-bearing reel and level wind mechanism thereof
A level wind mechanism for a dual-bearing reel including a first reel body and a second reel body includes a worm shaft, a guide member, and a first seal member. The worm shaft including a first end, a second end, a shaft body and a helical groove. The first end is on the same side as the first reel body. The second end is on the same side as the second reel body. The shaft body extends between the first end and the second end. The helical groove is on the shaft body. The guide member includes a tubular shape, is outside the worm shaft in a radial direction from a rotational axis of the worm shaft, and extends between the first reel body and the second reel body. The first seal member seals between the first end of the worm shaft and the guide member.
Fishing line dispensing apparatuses and methods of use
Fishing line dispensing apparatuses for loading fishing line onto a reel, can include a base operable to hold a spool of fishing line, a cap detachably associated with at least a portion of the base, and one or more securing elements coupled to the base. The securing elements can be operable to releasably secure the base to a shaft of a fishing rod. The base of a fishing line dispensing apparatus can additionally include a spool retention surface disposed at a bottom end of the base and a sidewall connected to and extending in a substantially orthogonal direction away from the spool retention surface.
Dual-bearing reel
A handle is rotatably attached to a first reel body. A second reel body has a cylindrical shape, and is an interval apart from the first reel body in an axial direction. A spool is disposed between the first reel body and the second reel body. A mount includes a mount surface facing in a first direction to contact the fishing rod when the dual-bearing reel is mounted to the fishing rod. The second reel body includes an outer peripheral surface and an outer lateral surface. The outer lateral surface faces outward in the axial direction, and the outer peripheral surface of the second reel body has a width narrower towards a first directional end of the second reel body than towards a second directional end of the second reel body. The second directional end is opposite to the first direction end.
LEFT HANDED FISHING REEL
A fishing reel includes a support member, a bail assembly, an input shaft, and a gear box, according to an exemplary embodiment. The bail assembly is coupled with the support member. The bail assembly is configured to retrieve or let out a fishing line. The input shaft is configured to receive an input torque. The gear box is configured to be driven by the input shaft and drive the bail assembly to retrieve the fishing line. The input shaft is configured to receive the input torque in a clockwise direction and drive the bail assembly to operate in a counter-clockwise direction to retrieve the fishing line.
GEAR MECHANISM FOR A FISHING REEL
A gear mechanism for a fishing reel includes a drive gear, a handle, and a vibration damper. The drive gear includes a gear having a prescribed gear diameter, and a drive gear shaft rotated together with the gear and having a smaller dimension than the prescribed gear diameter. The handle rotates the drive gear shaft. The vibration damper is disposed between the drive gear shaft and the handle, and dampens the transmission of the vibration of the drive gear.
