Fishing reel
A fishing reel includes a reel body, a drive shaft, a handle, a one-way clutch, and a seal mechanism. The drive shaft is rotatably supported by the reel body. The handle includes a handle arm extending in a direction intersecting the drive shaft, and a handle-side accommodating part in which the drive shaft is partially accommodated. The one-way clutch is disposed in the handle-side accommodating part and transmits only rotation of the handle in the fishing line winding direction to the drive shaft. The seal mechanism prevents water from entering the handle-side accommodating part from the outside.
Fishing reel
A dual-bearing reel includes a reel body, a spool shaft, a pinion gear, a collar member, a bearing, and a sealing member. The reel body includes a bearing housing. The pinion gear is rotatable about the spool shaft. The collar member is mounted on an outer peripheral surface of the pinion gear. The collar member has a large-diameter portion disposed adjacent to a tooth portion of the pinion gear in a shaft direction, and a small-diameter portion having a diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the large-diameter portion. The bearing is housed in the bearing housing and rotatably supports the pinion gear using the collar member. The sealing member is an annular member disposed in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the bearing housing and the outer peripheral surface of the large-diameter portion of the collar member.
Fishing Line Reel with In-Line Payout Control
A reel for fishing line or the like provides for extremely rapid payout by releasing the line to unwind by sliding rapidly around a guide surrounding the line spool and by rotation of the line spool itself. A handle extending rearwardly from the reel controls a line guide preventing sliding of the fishing line around the guide and providing controllable friction and locking of rotation of the line spool only when actuated by the user to permit retraction of the line or controlled tensioning of the line.
Fishing rod and reel attachment
An improved rod and reel attachment for a fishing rod that provides an improved method for securing a reel to the rod wherein the reel is attachable to the foot on the attachment that slides through a dovetail channel and is secured thereon with a locking pin that allows for quick and secure attachment and de-attachment of a reel to a rod.

Universal spool-free fishing reel and methods of making and using the same
The presently disclosed subject matter relates to a fishing reel attached to a fishing rod. The disclosed reel has no spool, but instead includes a canister that stores fishing line in an orderly free state via a crank attached to pinch rollers. The fishing line moves to storage by passing through the pinch rollers into the canister. The line entering storage curls to left or right dependent only on line memory, and stacks against the outer walls and to the rear in an orderly fashion. Further, the line is also capable of being extracted from the canister when the pinch rollers are opened. For example, the inertia of a fishing lure thrown by a fishing rod extracts free line from the canister at the same velocity as the moving lure. As a result, synchronization of the lure and fishing line occurs regardless of wind conditions. The problem of line backlash is eliminated. In addition, the free state of the fishing line eliminates the problem of line twist since the line memory chooses the direction of curl in the canister independently.
Gear mechanism for a fishing reel
A gear mechanism for a fishing reel includes a drive gear, a handle, and a vibration damper. The drive gear includes a gear having a prescribed gear diameter, and a drive gear shaft rotated together with the gear and having a smaller dimension than the prescribed gear diameter. The handle rotates the drive gear shaft. The vibration damper is disposed between the drive gear shaft and the handle, and dampens the transmission of the vibration of the drive gear.

Bow Fishing Reel with Reduced Friction Payout
A reel suitable for bow fishing and the like provides a cowling covering a reel with a wide opening to reduce frictional restraint on high-speed paying out of the line with the flight of the arrow. An optional guide arm may be used to minimize line diversion and hence friction during line payout while absorbing forces when the line is retracted permitting use of a lighter cowling design without loss of strength. A high torque bevel gear transmission and safety lighting is further provided.
Spinning reel
A spinning reel includes a waterproofing structure disposed on one of first wall portion of a spool and a second wall portion of an adjustment member. The waterproofing structure is configured to prevent infiltration of water into an interior of the spool. The waterproofing structure has an annular convex portion protruding toward other one of the first wall portion of the spool and the second wall portion of the adjustment member, and an annular concave portion recessed in a direction away from other one of the first wall portion of the spool and the second wall portion of the adjustment member, and disposed on an outer side of the annular convex portion in the radial direction of the spool shaft.
