A fiber separation tool is provided. The fiber separation tool includes a fin configured to maintain the fiber separation tool in a parallel orientation with respect to a plurality of fibers, a hook tip at a first end of the fin, wherein the hook tip is configured to separate the plurality of fibers, a blade disposed in the fin above the hook tip, wherein a portion of a cutting edge of the blade protrudes from a blade opening in the fin, and wherein the blade is configured to slice through a bonding material connecting the plurality of fibers, a lip at each side of the blade opening, wherein the lip is configured to prevent individual fibers of the plurality of fibers from contacting the blade, and a pivot point configured to guide the fiber separation tool between the individual fibers.

A device for cutting a hamburger into a variety of equal size pieces that is both light-weight, portable and easy to clean for use at home or away. The device is an article of manufacture that can be made by existing manufacturing methods using commonly used raw materials, including recycled materials. The device includes extensions connected to a handle by a column and is designed to fit on top of a hamburger with each extension containing a slot to guide the cutting of the hamburger. Notches are included to guide the placement of toothpicks that are inserted into the hamburger before cutting and are used to hold the individual cut pieces together after removing the device. The device addresses the needs of those consumers that may have difficulty eating a full-size hamburger and would benefit from eating smaller pieces, such as the elderly and children.

A chopping tool for safely chopping food. The chopping tool includes a blade with a blade edge at a distal end, and a spine at a proximal end. The spine includes two lateral edges with a receptor positioned near each lateral edge. The chopping tool also includes two handles engaging the blade, each handle including a scabbard section for grabbing with fingers, a horizontal section extending from the scabbard section towards and engaging the receptor on the spine, and a vertical section protruding from the scabbard section towards the distal end of the blade. Each handle is configured to pivot about a point of contact between a bottom end of the vertical section and a cutting surface to move the blade edge downward towards the cutting surface and upward away from the cutting surface in an alternating fashion for chopping an article placed on the cutting surface.

A chopping tool for safely chopping food. The chopping tool includes a blade with a blade edge at a distal end, and a spine at a proximal end. The spine includes two lateral edges with a receptor positioned near each lateral edge. The chopping tool also includes two handles engaging the blade, each handle including a scabbard section for grabbing with fingers, a horizontal section extending from the scabbard section towards and engaging the receptor on the spine, and a vertical section protruding from the scabbard section towards the distal end of the blade. Each handle is configured to pivot about a point of contact between a bottom end of the vertical section and a cutting surface to move the blade edge downward towards the cutting surface and upward away from the cutting surface in an alternating fashion for chopping an article placed on the cutting surface.

A ricasso may be positioned at the first blade end adjacent to the cutting edge, the ricasso including a ricasso angle assist bevel. A tool for removing a head or knot of a cable bundling device includes a housing, an opening, and a cutting element disposed within the opening. The housing defines the opening and a funneling element is position within the opening to direct the object to be cut towards an exposed cutting edge of the cutting element. The opening and funneling element are sized and arranged to accommodate the head or knot of the cable device while preventing any undesirable articles from being exposed to the cutting edge. The funneling element includes a wedge shape to prove improved access between the cable tie and the cutting edge.

A tool for removing a head or knot of a cable bundling device includes a housing, an opening, and a cutting element disposed within the opening. The housing defines the opening and a funneling element is position within the opening to direct the object to be cut towards an exposed cutting edge of the cutting element. The opening and funneling element are sized and arranged to accommodate the head or knot of the cable device while preventing any undesirable articles from being exposed to the cutting edge. The funneling element includes a wedge shape to prove improved access between the cable tie and the cutting edge.
