Folding knife with replaceable blade
A knife is provided that includes a replaceable blade element. The knife employs a blade carrier that is fixedly interconnected to or foldable with respect to a handle. The blade carrier selectively receives the replaceable blade element that is locked into the blade carrier by way of a hook and movable pin combination. The replaceable blade element is designed to be inserted within the blade carrier quickly, easily, and safely.

Retractable utility knife
A utility knife configured with a retractable cutting blade that is extended and retracted by a blade actuation mechanism. The blade actuation mechanism employs a blade trigger assembly and a blade carriage assembly that are operably connected in variety of configurations. Certain configurations of the blade actuation mechanism utilize a rack-and-pinion arrangement between the blade trigger assembly and the blade carriage assembly, which enables the automatic retraction of the cutting blade as the cutting blade is lifted from the cutting surface.
Fiber ribbon separation tool
A fiber-separation tool including a body with a channel located on a face of the body. The channel is defined by a first sidewall and a second sidewall. The channel is configured to receive an optical fiber ribbon. And, the fiber-separation tool comprises a first blade disposed in the channel with a cutting edge of the first blade. The first blade is configured to separate the optical fiber ribbon into a first portion comprising a first number of optical fibers and a second portion comprising a second number of optical fibers as the optical fiber ribbon is conveyed through the channel.
Illuminated Tool Device
The present invention relates to improvements in the field of tools, such as utility knives. The tool features a battery powered illumination element that allows the user to illuminate the working surface and working edge. This enhances working with a tool or utility knife in conditions where there is inadequate light. The user can press a button on the handle to activate or deactivate the light without deploying the blade, and the batteries that power the light may be replaced or recharged as needed.
Reciprocating Knife Assembly
The present invention is a reciprocating culinary knife assembly. The assembly is battery operated and operates a steak knife in reciprocating fashion. An ergonomic, oversized handle portion is designed for users with arthritis or other debilitating conditions that render handling small implements difficult. A single removable battery pack is contained within a battery chamber formed at one end of the housing for the assembly; the pack designed for easy snap fit within the chamber. The housing is made of a rigid material which is covered with a pliable material such as rubber or silicon to enhance gripping and further reduce discomfort. A pressure-sensing mechanism operates as an on/off switch to enhance user safety.
Knife
A knife has a first part and a second part movably engaged to the first part along a path between an open position in which a housing interior is accessible and a closed position. A holding surface is fixed on and jointly slidable with the second part, and a third part is fixable on the first part, An actuator is movable on the second part between an actuated position and an unactuated position. An arm integral with or fixed on the third part is operatively engaged by the actuator and displaced on movement of the actuator between the unactuated position and the actuated position between a locking position securing the second part in one of the open and closed positions and a release position.

ROOF CUTTER
A roof cutter and a method of cutting a roof is provided. The roof cutter includes a basethat is movable between a retracted configuration and a cutting configuration. In the retracted configuration, the blade is displaced from the roof. In the cutting configuration, the blade is positioned so as to facilitate cutting of the roof. The roof cutter includes a stop assembly and an engagement member that is configured to engage with the stop assembly when the base is in the cutting configuration, thereby establishing a maximum cutting depth. A dampening mechanism softens impacts associated with the blade moving to the cutting depth and absorbs vibrations associated with cutting the roof at the cutting depth. An adjustment assembly is configured to selectively adjust the cutting depth and/or to selectively restrain the base in the retracted configuration, thereby preventing the blade from cutting the roof.
BOX CORNER CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool for cutting a corner of a cardboard box is provided. The cutting tool includes a guide member having a handle and a guide extending forwardly from the handle. The guide has a pair of guiding wings adapted to engage the cardboard box to position the cutting tool relative to the corner. The cutting tool also includes a cutting element operatively connected to the guide and extending between the guiding wings. The cutting element is adapted to cut the corner of the box via a downward movement of the guide member along the corner of the box. The cutting tool also includes a cut-stopping system connected to the guide member, the cut-stopping system being adapted to contact a working surface, therefore blocking the downward movement of the guide member and limiting the length of the cut.
