Cutter
A cutter according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a blade body that includes a base body portion and a cutting edge portion disposed along an end portion of the base body portion and connected to the end portion. The base body portion contains a first metal. The cutting edge portion contains a second metal and a plurality of hard particles having hardness higher than that of the second metal. A cutter according to another embodiment of the present disclosure includes a blade body that includes a base body portion and a cutting edge portion disposed along an end portion of the base body portion and connected to the end portion. The base body portion contains a first metal as a primary component. The cutting edge portion contains, as a primary component, a second metal having hardness lower than that of the first metal.
Hunting Knife with Skinning Appliance
A tool, and a method using the tool, for skinning game animals. Specifically, the tool relates to a curved blade knife, sharpened on the curved, top edge, and possessing a spherical or non-spherical structure at the tip. The tool is used by forming a cut through the soft skin of a game animal, inserting the spherical or non-spherical structure through the cut, and pushing or pulling the blade such that the sharpened curved, top edge cuts through the skin and connective tissue. This tool and method takes advantage of the fact that the spherical or non-spherical structure at the tip of the blade is retained inside the skin and connective tissue of the game animal and the blade is automatically properly positioned to cut the skin of the game animal.
CUTTING DEVICE
A cutting device is disclosed. The cutting device has a housing assembly, a cutting assembly that is movably disposed in the housing assembly, the cutting assembly being movable in a first axis, between a retracted position and an extended position, and an urging member disposed between the housing assembly and the cutting assembly. The cutting assembly includes a cutting member. The cutting assembly includes an end assembly, which is actuatable in the first axis, and a movable member that is movable relative to the cutting assembly. When the end assembly is actuated, the urging member biases the cutting assembly in the first axis toward the retracted position. When the end assembly is actuated, the end assembly moves the movable member in a second axis that is different from the first axis.

FOLDING KNIFE WITH REPLACEABLE BLADE
A knife is provided that includes a replaceable blade element. The knife employs a blade carrier that is fixedly interconnected to or foldable with respect to a handle. The blade carrier selectively receives the replaceable blade element that is locked into the blade carrier by way of a hook and movable pin combination. The replaceable blade element is designed to be inserted within the blade carrier quickly, easily, and safely.

SHINGLE CUTTING KNIFE BLADE
A novel cutting device useful for cutting asphalt shingles and other roofing products features a blade having a top edge, a bottom edge located on an opposite side of the blade relative to the top edge, and left and right edges; a lower cutting edge adjacent the left or right edge; an upper sharpened edge positioned above the lower cutting edge and adjacent the same edge as the lower cutting edge, wherein the upper sharpened edge and the lower cutting edge are configured for cutting; at least one inner edge emanating from the bottom edge and angled towards the top edge, wherein the inner edge is tangent to the upper sharpened edge; and at least on fin or nodule disposed between the lower cutting edge and the upper sharpened edge, wherein the bottom edge is parallel to and shorter than the top edge.
NEEDLE WITH ROUNDED EDGE
A chemically etched needle is provided herein. The chemically etched needle includes a metal base having a first side and a second side. The chemically etched needle also includes a chemically etched blade at one end of the metal base and formed at an intersection of a distal diverging surface and a proximal diverging surface, at least one of the diverging surfaces slopes inward towards the second side.

KNIFE WITH RICASSO ANGLE ASSIST BEVEL
A knife may include a blade having first and second blade ends. A blade point may be disposed at the second blade end. A spine may be disposed between the first blade end and the second blade end. A cutting edge may oppose the spine. A primary bevel may be disposed between the spine and the cutting edge. A secondary bevel may be disposed between the primary bevel and the cutting edge. The secondary bevel may include a secondary bevel start line parallel to the spine and along a first longitudinal axis. A ricasso may be positioned at the first blade end adjacent to the cutting edge, the ricasso including a ricasso angle assist bevel. The ricasso angle assist bevel may include a ricasso angle assist bevel start line along a second longitudinal axis, wherein the second longitudinal axis is closer to the spine than the first longitudinal axis.
