CONNECTION DEVICE AND DRIVE ASSEMBLY FOR A CUTTING TOOL

The present invention provides a connection device or tool (10, 110, 210, 310, 410, 510, 610, 1110, 2110, 3110, 4110) to connect a first tool (80, 90) to a second tool (90,80), the connection device or tool (10, 110, 210, 310, 410, 510, 610, 1110, 2110, 3110, 4110) comprising at least one shell member 30 which clamps a first end to said first tool (80, 90) and a second end of said at least one shell member 30 to engage with said second tool (90,80), whereby relative rotation between said first tool and second tool is prevented, and axial separation of said first tool (80, 90) and second tool (90,80) is prevented or is assisted in being prevented. This results in a safer combination of the first tool (80, 90) and second tool (90,80), and allows for a one handed operation of the combination.

CONNECTION DEVICE AND DRIVE ASSEMBLY FOR A CUTTING TOOL

The present invention provides a connection device or tool (10, 110, 210, 310, 410, 510, 610, 1110, 2110, 3110, 4110) to connect a first tool (80, 90) to a second tool (90,80), the connection device or tool (10, 110, 210, 310, 410, 510, 610, 1110, 2110, 3110, 4110) comprising at least one shell member 30 which clamps a first end to said first tool (80, 90) and a second end of said at least one shell member 30 to engage with said second tool (90,80), whereby relative rotation between said first tool and second tool is prevented, and axial separation of said first tool (80, 90) and second tool (90,80) is prevented or is assisted in being prevented. This results in a safer combination of the first tool (80, 90) and second tool (90,80), and allows for a one handed operation of the combination.

Cutting device

A cutting device, such as a garden cutting device, includes a first and a second cutting element configured to move relative to each other, a first and a second gripping element configured to move relative to each other, at least one driving element, which in at least one operating state is configured to at least assist a movement of the second cutting element relative to the first cutting element, and a spring element. The spring element is configured as a brake element for switching of at least one self-switching coupling unit, thereby decoupling the driving element in at least one operating state in which the driving element is deactivated.

Cutting device

A cutting device, such as a garden cutting device, includes a first and a second cutting element configured to move relative to each other, a first and a second gripping element configured to move relative to each other, at least one driving element, which in at least one operating state is configured to at least assist a movement of the second cutting element relative to the first cutting element, and a spring element. The spring element is configured as a brake element for switching of at least one self-switching coupling unit, thereby decoupling the driving element in at least one operating state in which the driving element is deactivated.

POWER TOOL

A power tool is provided comprising: a motor, an output shaft driven by the motor along a longitudinal axis, a fan rotationally coupled to the motor to generate an airflow, and a housing comprising two calm shells mated together to support the motor and forming a back wall behind the motor along the longitudinal axis. The rear wall includes a plurality of air intakes. An end cap is attached to the housing adjacent the rear wall with an air gap therebetween. The airflow generated by the fan enters through the air gap in a substantially radial direction, then passes through the plurality of air intakes to enter the housing in thermal contact with the motor.

POWER TOOL

A power tool is provided comprising: a motor, an output shaft driven by the motor along a longitudinal axis, a fan rotationally coupled to the motor to generate an airflow, and a housing comprising two calm shells mated together to support the motor and forming a back wall behind the motor along the longitudinal axis. The rear wall includes a plurality of air intakes. An end cap is attached to the housing adjacent the rear wall with an air gap therebetween. The airflow generated by the fan enters through the air gap in a substantially radial direction, then passes through the plurality of air intakes to enter the housing in thermal contact with the motor.

Control system with a handling knob

A control device intended for a user to choose and select functions in a vehicle includes a knob that can be manipulated in rotation about a main axis with respect to a fixed support. The knob comprises a neutral position in which the main axis coincides with a neutral axis that is fixed with respect to the support. The control device also comprises a printed circuit board on which the knob and at least one direction sensor are fixed. The printed circuit board is mounted with the ability to pivot with respect to the support about an axis transverse overall to the neutral axis so as to come to occupy at least a first activated position in which the main axis is inclined with respect to the neutral axis when the knob is moved in a direction orthogonal to the neutral axis. The direction sensor is intended to detect the activated position.

Control system with a handling knob

A control device intended for a user to choose and select functions in a vehicle includes a knob that can be manipulated in rotation about a main axis with respect to a fixed support. The knob comprises a neutral position in which the main axis coincides with a neutral axis that is fixed with respect to the support. The control device also comprises a printed circuit board on which the knob and at least one direction sensor are fixed. The printed circuit board is mounted with the ability to pivot with respect to the support about an axis transverse overall to the neutral axis so as to come to occupy at least a first activated position in which the main axis is inclined with respect to the neutral axis when the knob is moved in a direction orthogonal to the neutral axis. The direction sensor is intended to detect the activated position.
