Electric scissors (1A, 1B) is provided with: a first blade (2A, 2B); a second blade (3A, 3B); a toggle link mechanism (7A, 7B) including a first link (71A, 71B), a second link (72A, 72B), and a drive shaft (70A, 70B); and a drive section (5, 6). One end of the first link (71A, 71B) is rotatably connected to a transmission portion (21A, 21B) of the first blade (2A, 2B). One end of the second link (72A, 72B) is rotatably connected to a transmission portion (31A, 31B) of the second blade (3A, 3B). The other end of the first link (71A, 71B) is rotatably connected to the other end of the second link (72A, 72B) through the drive shaft (70A, 70B). The drive section (5, 6) is configured to open/close the first blade (2A, 2B) and the second blade (3A, 3B) by displacing the drive shaft (70A, 70B) in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the drive shaft (70A, 70B).

Cutting device

A cutting device includes a first gripping element, a first cutting element extending from the first gripping element, a second gripping element operably connected to the first gripping element at a pivot and configured to move relative to the first gripping element about the pivot, and a second cutting element extending from the second gripping element and configured for movement relative to the first cutting element about the pivot. The cutting device further includes an opening spring extending from the first gripping element and the second gripping element, and a protection device located (i) between the first gripping element and the second gripping element, and (ii) between the pivot and the opening spring. An intermediate space is defined between the pivot and the opening spring. The protection device at least partially fills the intermediate space, such that objects are prevented from being inserted into the intermediate space.

Cutting device

A cutting device includes a first gripping element, a first cutting element extending from the first gripping element, a second gripping element operably connected to the first gripping element at a pivot and configured to move relative to the first gripping element about the pivot, and a second cutting element extending from the second gripping element and configured for movement relative to the first cutting element about the pivot. The cutting device further includes an opening spring extending from the first gripping element and the second gripping element, and a protection device located (i) between the first gripping element and the second gripping element, and (ii) between the pivot and the opening spring. An intermediate space is defined between the pivot and the opening spring. The protection device at least partially fills the intermediate space, such that objects are prevented from being inserted into the intermediate space.

CONTROL SYSTEM WITH A HANDLING KNOB

A control device intended for a user to choose and select functions in a vehicle includes a knob that can be manipulated in rotation about a main axis with respect to a fixed support. The knob comprises a neutral position in which the main axis coincides with a neutral axis that is fixed with respect to the support. The control device also comprises a printed circuit board on which the knob and at least one direction sensor are fixed. The printed circuit board is mounted with the ability to pivot with respect to the support about an axis transverse overall to the neutral axis so as to come to occupy at least a first activated position in which the main axis is inclined with respect to the neutral axis when the knob is moved in a direction orthogonal to the neutral axis. The direction sensor is intended to detect the activated position.

An in-line portable, hand held hydraulic cutting tool having a handle assembly and a working head assembly is provided. The handle assembly has a tool frame portion and a neck portion. The working head assembly has a pair of jaw members joined so that they are movable relative to each other and held in place by a locking pin. Each jaw member has a cutting blade secured to or directly formed into the jaw member. A stabilizer can be secured to or directly formed into one or both jaw members. The one or more stabilizers are aligned with a respective cutting blade such that during a cutting operation at least an edge of the stabilizer engages an object being cut to limit rotation of the object during the cutting operation.
