Blade support for multi-blade razor cartirdges
The invention provides a razor cartridge with multiple blades and peg(s) or pegged support members that aid in the control of the blades by restricting fore and aft blade movement, which in turn, reduces the amplitude of blade deflection and/or vibration during shaving. This reduction provided by the pegs improves shaving performance. Blades rest between pegs which are rounded or shaped such that the blade bottom portion contacts the peg at one point, forming a single line of contact. The pegs may be in a slalom-like, linear (with one or more peg columns), or offset arrangement. Pegs or pegged support members may be at any location of the razor blade assembly; for instance, at the center and/or at blade slot ends. Pegs may each be of different shapes and may or may not be equidistant or at the same heights as each other, depending on blade spans and exposures.
Devices and methods for mounting an article to a surface
In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a holder including a first surface, a second surface, a body portion in between the first surface and the second surface, and a protrusion. The first surface is configured to be coupled to a mounting surface. A magnet is disposed within the body such that a portion of the second surface is magnetically attractable to a first portion of an article. The protrusion is configured to engage a second portion of the article. The article being removably coupled to the holder when the first portion of the article is magnetically coupled against the portion of the second surface and the second portion of the article is engaged with the protrusion.
Razor head
A razor head includes a head frame, a razor blade, an independent trimming unit and a lubricating strip. The head frame has a front frame wall, a rear frame wall and a side frame wall. The razor blade is arranged between the front frame wall and the rear frame wall, and assembled on the side frame wall. The trimming unit is assembled on the side frame wall, with a receiving groove being defined by the trimming unit and the rear frame wall. The lubricating strip is inserted into the receiving groove, and clamped by the trimming unit and the rear frame wall. By this token, the trimming unit not only has trimming function, but also has holding function for fixing the lubricating strip, accordingly, the manufacturing process is simplified, the manufacturing materials and manufacturing cost are reduced.
Razor assembly
A razor assembly comprising a handle portion having a frustoconical portion and a ring portion depending therefrom; a blade support removably secured to said ring portion; a blade cartridge having a blade member, whereby said blade cartridge is removably attached to said blade support.
Razor assembly
A razor assembly comprising a handle portion having a frustoconical portion and a ring portion depending therefrom; a blade support removably secured to said ring portion; a blade cartridge having a blade member, whereby said blade cartridge is removably attached to said blade support.
Shaving systems
Replaceable shaving assemblies are disclosed that include a blade unit, an interface element configured to removeably connect the blade unit to a handle, on which the blade unit is pivotably mounted, and an return element disposed between the blade unit and interface element. The return element serves as interface piece, connector and pivot all in one. Shaving systems including such shaving assemblies are also disclosed, as are methods of using such shaving systems.
PROFILING APPARATUS FOR STYLING FACIAL HAIR
A razor assembly comprising a first razor head member; a second razor head member; a handle; and wherein the first razor head member and the second razor head member are pivotable about each other.
Razor with cutting blade rotatable about multiple axes
A razor includes a handle and detachable blade cartridge. The end of the handle has a pivot sphere upon which the blade cartridge is rotatably mounted, with freedom to pivot around three axes of the handle, and otherwise holds its orientation relative to the handle. The blade cartridge is held to the pivot sphere by a clevis having recesses defined in at least the inner side surfaces of its legs. The recesses, together with the clevis, are sized to admit the pivot sphere between them and to hold the sphere therein once admitted. The clevis and/or the pivot sphere can be formed of a resilient injection molded plastic. The range of motion of the blade cartridge can be limited by forming one or more stops on the pivot sphere to interact with the clevis and thereby interrupt its free rotation.
Razors and razor cartridges
A razor cartridge having a first blade proximal to a front of the cartridge and having one or more first coatings disposed thereon, a second blade proximal to a back of the cartridge, the second blade having one or more second coatings disposed thereon, wherein a thickness of at least one of the one or more first coatings disposed on the first blade is less than a thickness of at least one of the one or more second coatings disposed on the second blade.
Heated shaving razor
A shaving razor system with a housing having a guard and a cap. At least one blade is mounted to the housing between the guard and the cap. At least one metallic clip secures the at least one blade to the housing. A heater bar to provide warmth to the user's skin during shaving that directly contacts the at least one clip and the at least one clip directly contacts the at least one blade to provide heat to the at least one blade.
