HANDLE AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A HANDLE
A method for manufacturing a handle includes manufacturing a surface portion for the handle, arranging the surface portion having a uniform thickness in a mould to contact a surface of the mould and to cover cavities which are provided in the surface in a predetermined pattern, pressing those parts of the surface portion that cover the cavities into the cavities with a mass that is introduced into the mould, and removing the handle from the mould once the mass has cured to form a rigid body which is at least partly covered by the surface portion from which protrusions arranged in the predetermined pattern protrude.

VELOCITY ALIGNED THROWABLE OBJECT
A VATO comprises a blade, a handle, a stabilizing assembly, and a spherical weight. In a preferred embodiment, the spherical weight makes up a significant portion of the overall weight of the VATO. The spherical weight is positioned between the blade and the handle, and the stabilizing assembly is attached to a rear portion of the handle. When the VATO is thrown, a velocity vector is established in the direction of the trajectory of the VATO. The stabilizing assembly produces aerodynamic drag which assists in keeping the blade oriented in a forward position with respect to the trajectory of the VATO. The spherical weight is permitted to freely rotate thereby enabling the blade, the handle and the stabilizing assembly to independently rotate into alignment with the trajectory of the VATO such that the blade is in a forward position as the VATO strikes a target.

Handle protector for a hand tool
A hand tool (100, 200, 300) includes a working head (102), a handle (104) connected to the working head (102), and a handle protector (110, 302, 502) attached to the handle (104) proximate the working head (102). The handle protector (110, 302, 502) is manufactured from a metal sheet. Further, at least one portion of the handle protector (110, 302, 502) extends into the handle (104) to facilitate attachment of the handle protector (110, 302, 502) to the handle (104).

Two Piece Camp Axe
A compact 2-piece axe comprises a first piece which is used as a hatchet, and with the connection of a second piece, which forms a handle extension, transforms the first piece, the hatchet, into an axe. The 2-piece axe of the invention when separated into the 2-pieces can be packed compactly, while still providing an axe which can be operated in two different axe modes, the first piece alone as a hatchet or the first piece with the handle extension attached as an axe. The axe of the invention can be and easily transformed from one axe mode to the other axe mode.
