SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING A WIRELESS MOTOR DRIVE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR HANDHELD KNIVES
A power pack for a power tool. The power pack includes an electric motor configured for driving engagement with the power tool. The power pack also includes a motor controller having a relay circuit connected a electric motor. The relay circuit includes has a switch selectively connected to a power supply. The power supply powers the electric motor. The motor controller also includes non-transitory computer-readable storage media having computer-executable instructions for monitoring operation of the stored power pack. When executed by at least one processor, the computer-executable instructions cause the at least one processor to: monitor input data relating to operation of the power pack; determine, based on the input data, that operation of the power pack deviated from an ideal state; and, based on the determination of deviation, cause the switch to electrically disconnect the electric motor from the power supply.
Blade receiver assembly and cutting device
The invention relates to a blade receiver assembly, comprising a switch comprising a switch cover and a switch base fixedly connected to each other, wherein the switch base has an opening; an axle with a structural section and a body receiver section, wherein the axle is arranged to move through the opening of the switch base in relation to the switch. The invention also relates to a cutting device comprising a blade receiver assembly.
EDGE GUIDE
A hand-held rotary cutter assembly for cutting material includes a blade receptacle having a first surface having an indentation formed therein. An edge guide is received in the indentation. The edge guide includes a continuous linear edge. A blade engages the edge guide. The edge guide and the blade are configured to move simultaneously and linearly from a first position to a second position. A segmented portion of the blade extends outwardly from the continuous linear edge of the edge guide.
Cutting tool
A cutting tool includes a rotary blade driven by a motor, a fixed blade disposed opposing the rotary blade, a housing holding the motor, and a battery mount part on a rear portion of the housing. The battery mount part has a guide groove that slidably receives a rail of a power tool battery pack. A blade cover is disposed partially around the rotary blade, and a portion or all of the blade cover has a shape in which the farther forward it goes the more it goes toward the side that has the fixed blade, viewed from the rotary blade. A base holds the fixed blade, and a portion or all of the base has a shape in which the farther forward it goes the more it goes toward the side that has the fixed blade, viewed from the rotary blade.
