A self-defense device generally comprises a wearable piece of jewelry, such as a ring, that comprises an integrated blade element. The ring comprises an inner diameter sized to accommodate a user's finger or the ring may receive size inserts to effectively reduce the ring's inner diameter so as to accommodate a size of the user's finger. The blade may be serrated, barbed, hooked, and the like to provide for a more effective device. The blade may comprise various supports to add rigidity; may be contoured to accommodate the form of the user's finger; and may comprise a sheath to secure the blade during non-use. The self-defense device may also comprise multiple rings secured together to provide for multiple blades.

A food cutting device with a handle adapted to be held in a user's hand and a detachable cutting wheel for cutting a food item, the detachable cutting wheel has a circular blade and an axle projecting therefrom, the handle has a retaining pincer adapted to grasp the axle, allowing the detachable cutting wheel to freely rotate therein, and has a pincer gap which allows the axle to be alternatively inserted or removed. The axle has a retaining flange positioned parallel to the circular blade, preventing lateral shifting of the detachable cutting wheel by abutment between the circular blade, the retaining flange, and the retaining pincer positioned therebetween. The handle further has an upper blade guard and a lower blade guard adapted to protect the user's hand from the circular blade.

An adjustable sheath for carrying an article includes a main body having a front surface, a rear surface opposite the front surface, and a peripheral edge, a receptacle configured to receive an article, wherein the receptacle is coupled to the front surface and the receptacle includes an outer surface, and a strap configured to retain the article within the receptacle, the strap including a first end portion removably coupled to the rear surface of the main body and a second end portion removably coupled to the outer surface of the receptacle. The top strap passes over the peripheral edge of the main body when coupled to the rear surface main body and the outer surface of the receptacle.
Adjustable carrying device
An adjustable sheath for carrying an article includes a main body having a front surface, a rear surface opposite the front surface, and a peripheral edge, a receptacle configured to receive an article, wherein the receptacle is coupled to the front surface and the receptacle includes an outer surface, and a strap configured to retain the article within the receptacle, the strap including a first end portion removably coupled to the rear surface of the main body and a second end portion removably coupled to the outer surface of the receptacle. The top strap passes over the peripheral edge of the main body when coupled to the rear surface main body and the outer surface of the receptacle.

A package opener comprises a handle having a first half and a second half. A plurality of blade cartridges are sandwiched between the first half and the second half, wherein the plurality of blade cartridges include at least one package opening blade cartridge, at least one dual blade cartridge, and at least one envelope cutting blade cartridge. The package opening blade cartridge is configured at an operative bottom end of the handle. The dual blade cartridge is configured at an operative rear end of the handle. The envelope cutting blade cartridge is configured at an operative front end of the handle.
Scraping tools that deburr multiple edges of a part
Systems and methods are provided for scraping tools for edging composite parts. One embodiment is an apparatus that includes a scraping tool. The scraping tool includes a base member, a first wall upwardly extending from a first side of the base member, a second wall upwardly extending from a second side of the base member, and a channel defined by the base member, the first wall, and the second wall. The scraping tool further includes a first blade mount within the channel that is fixed to the first wall, and a second blade mount within the channel that is fixed to the second wall. The first blade mount secures a blade oriented oblique to the base member, and the second blade mount secures a blade oriented oblique to the base member.
