A plurality of lower blades is positioned adjacent to the plurality of upper blades in the cartridge, where at least some of the plurality of lower blades comprises curved tips with a curvature that sufficient to prevent the curved tips from contact a cutting surface during cutting. At least one of the plurality of upper and the plurality of lower blades has a thickness and flexibility that results in deflection during cutting that increases effectiveness of cutting action. A drive motor moves the plurality of upper blades relative to the plurality of lower blades.

The disclosure relates to a method for producing a fiber preform, wherein: at least one dry and textile fiber material is provided; the fiber material is assembled into a plurality of individual layers; the plurality of individual layers is provided with a binder; the plurality of individual layers is layered to form a package; and a plurality of interconnected fiber preforms is formed by pressing the package. A separation of the plurality of interconnected fiber preforms and activation of the binder occur in a common process step. The disclosure furthermore relates to a corresponding system.

The amount of positional deviation between the center of the two-dimensional image on the display unit and the axial center C of the rotary shaft of the drilling blade is calculated, and the pipe lining material is drilled by moving the drilling blade by the amount of positional deviation in a direction in which the positional deviation is eliminated.

A block of construction material is fabricated by harvesting a plurality of tread strips from a plurality of tires by, for each tire, removing a tread texture of a tread cap from each tire using a tread removal device while leaving a remaining portion of the tread cap intact with one or more sidewalls and shoulders of each tire, removing the side walls and the entire shoulders from each tire by cutting through the remaining portion of each tread cap, and slicing the remaining portion of each tread cap to produce tread strips. Each strip is preheated, and while maintaining the temperature, stacked onto the gummed previous strips, until a block of desirable size is yielded. Use of fasteners, plates and membranes to maintain the stacked tread strips into a block arrangement is eliminated.

In this case, there is a cutting-region stress in the film (2) or sheet in the cutting region (1) upstream of the passing-on roller (20), and there is a secondary stress in the film (2) or sheet in the passing-on region (II) upstream of the secondary region (III), in particular winding region (III).
