Digital fishing net scale configured for integration into a hotspot system
The present invention generally relates to digital fishing net scales to determine the weight of a catch in the fishing net and to automatically record the weight. The present invention also relates to a system and method of automatically determining and recording the weight of a catch and catch related data, and to a system and method of generating fishing hotspot information. In particular, the present invention relates to digital scales that are communicatively connected to a system comprising a data store for automatically storing the weight of each catch/fish, and optionally for automatically storing related data. Related data may include catch related data originating from the digital fishing net scale or hotspot related data originating from devices/data stores operably connected to the hotspot system; illustrative examples include location, time, date, lunar phase, air temperature, water temperature, water depth, water salinity, weather conditions, species of fish, fish activity, and/or comments of a user. Further the present invention provides a system for generating fishing hotspot information that includes a digital fishing net scale, and methods that generate fishing hotspot information by determining and correlating weight data, optional catch related data, and hotspot related data with their corresponding location data.
Method of Fishing with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
The present disclosure discloses a method of using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) comprising a housing, a processor, a positioning unit, a sonar unit, a launching unit and a fishhook unit in fishing. The method comprises manipulating the UAV to fly to a designated destination determined by the processor according to one of a received wireless communication and a preset program, adjusting the sonar unit to a predetermined height by the positioning unit, determining a coordinate corresponding to a signal detected by the sonar unit as a fishing region when the signal is consistent with a predetermined value, launching bait to the fishing region by the launching unit, releasing a fishhook from the fishhook unit to the fishing region, and manipulating the UAV to hover or return by the processor according to one of a received wireless communication and a preset program.

Line dampener
A line dampener is configured to reduce vibration in a fishing line. The line dampener includes a housing that has a top portion that smoothly descends to a front portion, a rear portion, a port portion and a starboard portion. A bottom portion smoothly ascends to a front portion, a rear portion, a port portion and a starboard portion. A tunnel perforates the housing. A fishing line passes through the tunnel. The housing reduces the vibration in the fishing line.

STEM GUIDES AND REPLACEABLE CARTRIDGES
The invention relates to a method for adjusting the buoyancy of a fishing bobber. The method includes providing a buoyant member and a stem guide configured to receive the buoyant member, mounting the buoyant member to the stem guide and cutting the buoyant member. The buoyant member is made of a material capable of being severed by a cutting device and having first length, a lower end, and an upper end. The stem guide receives the buoyant member and a fishing line with fishing tackle. The buoyant member is cut such that the buoyant member has a second length shorter than the first length. The buoyant member is cut to a second length such that the buoyancy of the buoyant member when cut to a second length is enough to oppose the tendency of the stem guide and fishing tackle to submerse the buoyant member such that a top surface of the cut buoyant member is adjacent to the surface of the water when the stem guide, buoyant member, fishing line and any fishing tackle are placed in the water.
