Perforated film, coating film, and electricity storage device
Tensile strength in a width direction and a longitudinal direction is improved without damaging a ventilation characteristic. A perforated film is a perforated film provided with holes, each of the holes is arranged at an intersection of a plurality of virtual lines extending along a direction and a plurality of virtual lines extending along a direction, and the direction is different from the width direction and the longitudinal direction. The direction and the direction may be both inclined at an angle larger than 30 and smaller than 60 to the width direction.
MULTILAYERED SHEET ASSEMBLY AND A METHOD FOR FORMING A SIGN
Multilayered sheet assembly for forming a sign, comprising a carrier layer on which a sign layer is arranged on a first side via a first adhesive layer, wherein the sheet assembly further comprises a strip layer which is arranged via a second adhesive layer in adhesively separable manner on a second side of the carrier layer, and a method for forming a sign from such a sheet assembly, and a thus formed sign.
Z-CHANNEL CREATION IN WOVEN PREFORM BY INCORPORATION OF PIN FEATURES INTO PREFORM TOOLING
A tooling assembly for debulking a fibrous preform includes a first tooling fixture comprising a plurality of receiving holes, and a second tooling fixture comprising a plurality of pins projecting toward the first tooling fixture, each of the plurality of pins corresponding to and extending towards one of the plurality of receiving holes. The second tooling fixture is engageable with the first tooling fixture to define an inner volume therebetween, the inner volume configured to support the preform during debulking while a compressive force is applied thereto.
Unified Punch Inflation and Sealing Tool
A tool for inflating a chamber (50) in an article composed at least partially of polymer layers, such as thermoplastic layers. The tool can allow for forming an aperture in a polymer layer (350), inflating a chamber (50) or volume (130) in fluid communication with the aperture, and then welding or sealing the chamber (50) so that the inflation fluid is substantially retained in the chamber (50) and/or does not escape via the aperture. In various aspects, the formation of the aperture, inflation of the chamber (50), and sealing of the chamber (50) or aperture can be performed by a single tool and/or based on a single registration of the thermoplastic article with a tool. In some aspects, formation of the aperture is enabled in part by using a punch (100, 201, 205) with a cupped surface (341) that allows the top layer of a thermoplastic article to be breached without forming a hole in at least one lower layer (350).
System and method for plank processing
System and method for producing resilient planks are described. A die punch press is provided to receive and die punch resilient slabs into planks. Die punching the resilient slabs into plural planks can sometimes create a deformity on at least one bottom edge of the plank. The planks are then automatically conveyed from the die punch press to a shaping tool. The shaping tool receives individual planks and forms at least one bevel in the respective plank removing the deformity. The planks can then be stacked and prepared for shipping.

A CUTTING APPARATUS FOR CUTTING FLEXIBLE MATERIAL WITH A FIRST CUTTING UNIT AND A SECOND CUTTING UNIT COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE LASER EMITTER
The present application relates to an apparatus for cutting flexible material. This cutting apparatus comprises: a feed line of a flexible material (2), feeding means (8) for feeding each layer (9, 10, 11, 12) so as to couple said layers (9, 10, 11, 12) to each other along the line of feed and to define said material (2), a first cutting unit (13), arranged on the feeding line, to carry out a first shaping process on said material (2), and a second cutting unit (14), arranged on the feeding line (6) downstream of said first cutting unit (13), to carry out a second shaping process on said shaped material (2). Said second cutting unit (14) has at least a laser emitter (16) to carry out finishing work on the material (2) shaped in the first cutting unit (13).
