FISHING SYSTEM
20190014766 · 2019-01-17 ·

A fishing system is disclosed. In one aspect, the fishing system includes a first fishing line segment terminating with a hook and a second fishing line segment terminating with a sinker. An attachment point can also be provided, wherein a first eyelet of the attachment point is slidably arranged on the first fishing line segment and a second eyelet of the attachment point is attached to the second fishing line segment. The fishing system can also include an immovable stopper attached to the first fishing line segment and a rigid or non-collapsing flexible tube spaced between the hook and the immovable stopper. In one aspect, the hook, stopper, and tube can move distally away from the first eyelet. The fishing system can also include a spherical ball spacer situated between the stopper and the first eyelet.

Controlled Sinking Weight
20180343843 · 2018-12-06 ·

A slip sinker includes an elongated inner tubular weighted mass having a conical end for ease of threading a fishing line. Annularly disposed about the elongated inner tubular weighted mass is a casing shell that provides a level of buoyancy and which has a generally bulged, symmetrical, and cylindrical or oblong shape. The casing shell is a durable, buoyant, low-density element. The slip sinker has a shape and density which causes the sinker to be slow to sink, to land softly, to make less noise, and to avoid digging into bottom substrates. The disclosed slip sinker: does not easily tangle in weeds or other bottom substrates; starts to ascend immediately upon the line being tugged or reeled, such as to avoid dragging across the bottom of the body of water and/or catching on obstacles; and improves ease of casting, such as by allowing for improved control and farther casts.

The inventors disclose and teach herein a device that quickly and reliably attaches rigging to a fishing line, especially trolling lines. The device includes a spring-loaded clip with means for attaching additional accessories to the clip, such as weights. Accordingly, in the context of trolling, a trolling depth can be set and readjusted rapidly simply by clipping different weights onto the line. Moreover, the clip includes a side-opening for receiving a fishing line in compression between a spring-loaded plunger and anvil. The line is further secured by an embossed retainer blocking the line from slipping out from between the plunger and anvil.

FISHING BAIT HOLDERS
20180213759 · 2018-08-02 ·

A variety of fishing lure assembles are disclosed which can hold a live worm on a skewer or in a clamp. A powerbait and a standard lure embodiment are disclosed, wherein all embodiments can enable the hook to be several inches away from the bait. When the fish bites the bait and swims away, he drags the invention down to the hook and gets hooked. Many options are provided the fisherman to either lock the invention fast to the fishing line or provide for the sliding action.
