Clip-on trolling device
The inventors disclose and teach herein a device that quickly and reliably attaches rigging to a fishing line, especially trolling lines. The device includes a spring-loaded clip with means for attaching additional accessories to the clip, such as weights. Accordingly, in the context of trolling, a trolling depth can be set and readjusted rapidly simply by clipping different weights onto the line. Moreover, the clip includes a side-opening for receiving a fishing line in compression between a spring-loaded plunger and anvil. The line is further secured by an embossed retainer blocking the line from slipping out from between the plunger and anvil.

RETRIEVABLE CHUM DISPENSER
A chum dispenser system comprises a lower housing shell defining a lower cavity and an upper housing shell defining an upper cavity. The upper housing shell is removably attachable to the lower housing shell, the upper and lower cavities defining an interior compartment when the upper housing shell is attached to the lower housing shell. The upper housing shell has one or more perforations extending therethrough to fluidically couple the interior compartment and an exterior environment. In certain embodiments, two or more interchangeable buoyancy members are configured to be removably and interchangeably received within the lower housing shell, wherein each of the two or more buoyancy members have a receptacle formed therein for holding a supply of chum material.

FISHING HOOK BALLAST WEIGHT
A fishing hook ballast weight comprising a ceramic material, preferably having a density of greater than 3 g/cm.sup.3. The ballast weight can be provided with attachment means, such as metal or plastic eyelets, or can include one or more through-holes for fixedly securing hooks and eye-lets or for threading a line.
Fishing Sinker Assembly
A fishing sinker assembly that is used in combination with a fishing pole that maintains and direct an extendable length of fishing line to which bait is attached the assembly is secured to an end or section of baited fishing line that is placed into a body of water during fishing. The assembly causes the baited fishing to sink below the surface of the water to an optimal depth, and can attract fish. The assembly includes a two-section containing member and a two-section enclosing member. The containing member's first section has cavities into each of which is inserted a wedge. The wedge can be made of a variety of materials or a fish attracting substance. The second section functions as a cover over the cavities and wedges a cover over the cavities and wedges. The enclosing member's two sections are placed on and over the containing member and are made of an impact-resistant or impact-absorbing material to protect against inadvertent contact between the assembly and a vessel.
Split shot fishing line weight
A fishing line weight according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a first tungsten body including a first hole, a first projection and a first groove. A second tungsten body includes a second hole substantially aligned with the first hole, a second projection substantially aligned with the first groove and a second groove substantially aligned with the first projection. A copper pin is disposed in the first hole and the second hole. The first tungsten body is unconnected from the second tungsten body.
Fishing Weight Attachment Device
A fishing weight attachment device is formed by a wire frame and includes a mounting coil and a locking element. The mounting coil is formed of a plurality of spaced loops. The locking element is formed by a pair of loops in the wire frame, wherein the fishing line may be frictionally engaged between the pair of loops so that the wire frame does not slide along the fishing line. A pliable sleeve is positioned around the wire frame extending over the pair of loops of the wire frame, such that the fishing line may be frictionally engaged between the pair of loops so that the wire frame does not slide along the fishing line, and such that the pliable sleeve protects the fishing line from being damaged by being pinched by the pair of loops.
