The frame configured to pivot relative to at least one of the distal and proximal posts when coupled thereto, the frame configured for positioning at different heights along the at least one of the distal and proximal posts. An arm is supported by the frame, the arm configured for sliding about, and parallel to, the frame. The arm includes a chainsaw attached to a distal region of the arm.
CHAINSAW
A power tool includes a switch moveable between a first position enabling activation of a motor and a second position disabling the motor. The power tool includes a trigger movably coupled to a housing of the power tool between an OFF position and an ON position. The switch moves from the second position to the first position in response to the trigger moving from the OFF position to the ON position. The power tool includes a trigger lock-off pivotably coupled to the housing between a lock position and an unlock position. The trigger lock-off is engageable with the trigger to inhibit movement of the trigger from the OFF position to the ON position when the trigger lock-off is in the lock position. The trigger lock-off allows movement of the trigger from the OFF position to the ON position when the trigger lock-off is in the unlock position.
Chainsaw
Disclosed is a chainsaw capable of making it less likely that vibrations due to driving of an electric motor and a endless movement of a saw chain are transmitted to a worker, thereby enabling the worker to become less likely to be fatigued even in work using the chainsaw. The chainsaw includes an electric motor provided inside a body casing; a guide bar provided in a front portion of the body casing in such a manner as to protrude forwardly; a saw chain provided around an outer periphery of the guide bar in an endlessly movable manner, and configured to be endlessly moved along the outer periphery of the guide bar under driving of the electric motor; a handle section provided with respect to the body casing, and configured to be gripped by a worker; and an anti-vibration member interposed between the body casing and the handle section.
Electric-power-driven working device
A chainsaw 1 (electric-power-driven working device) comprises a body case 10, a cutting attachment 20 (work tool), a motor 30 and a battery 90. A front portion 11a of the body case 10 houses the motor 30 and a battery mount-and-release portion 12 is formed on a rear portion 11b of the body case 10. The battery 90 mounted on the battery mount-and-release portion 12 extends in an upper-lower direction across and over a middle portion in a height direction of the rear portion 11b of the body case 10. The side handle 50 arranged to a side face of the body case 10 extends from the front portion 11a to the rear portion 11b of the body case 10. A rear end portion 52 of the side handle is disposed rearward of and below an output shaft 31 of the motor 30.
Handheld power tool
A handheld power tool (100) comprising at least one orientation sensor (150) is provided. The handheld power tool (100) is operatively connected to a controller (160; 210) and said controller (160; 210) is configured to receive orientation data from the at least one orientation sensor (150), wherein the orientation data comprises information associated with an orientation of at least a portion of the handheld power tool (100) and to determine operational data based on the orientation data, said operational data representing work performed using the handheld power tool (100). The operational data is determined by determining the orientation of the power tool based on the received orientation data from the at least one orientation sensor (150).
Power tool
A power tool (100), such as a chainsaw, comprising means (230) for driving said power tool (100) and a controller (210). The power tool comprises a movement sensor (220) and the controller (210) is configured to receive a signal from said movement sensor (220), determine if said signal is a signal indicating a movement, determine a time wherein no signal indicating a movement is received, determine if said time exceeds a time period, and if so, disable said driving means (230).
