Accessories for oscillating power tools
An accessory for use with an oscillating power tool includes an attachment plate and a raised annular rim extending from the attachment plate. The raised annular rim has a central recess and a keyed sidewall with a star shape configured to be engaged by a first mating geometry of an oscillating power tool. The raised annular rim may further include a receiving portion formed thereon configured to be engaged by a second mating geometry of an oscillating power tool.
OSCILLATING TOOL
A clamp arrangement for securing an accessory to an oscillating power tool can include a clamp assembly including a first clamp member that moves relative to the accessory between a closed position wherein the clamp assembly retains the accessory and an open position wherein the first clamp is offset from the accessory permitting removal of the first accessory from the clamp assembly. The clamp assembly can further comprise a second clamp member having a first portion that opposes the first clamp member and cooperates with the first clamp member to clamp the accessory between the first and second clamp members. An attachment plate can carry the clamp assembly. The attachment plate can have a first mating detail formed thereon that is configured to selectively and removably mate with a complementary second mating detail on the power tool in an assembled position.
Power Tool Attachment Saw
A power tool attachment saw according to the invention is provide and includes a body plate, a connector section and a plurality of cutting walls. The body plate is a planar body and the connector section positioned on one side of the planar body and adapted for attachment to an oscillating power tool. The plurality of cutting walls are positioned orthogonal to and extend from exterior edges of the planar body to form a material receiving space. The plurality of cutting walls provide a uniform cutting edge about the material receiving space.
Surgical cutting instrument with near-perimeter interlocking coupling arrangement
A blade coupling mechanism for a hand-held surgical cutting instrument includes a first coupling member including a first blade-contacting surface and a first outer perimeter sidewall adjacent the first blade contacting surface. It also includes a second coupling member including a second blade-contacting surface facing the first blade-contacting surface of the first coupling member. The second coupling member includes a second outer perimeter sidewall adjacent the second blade contacting surface. The second blade-contacting surface and the second outer perimeter sidewall meet to define an outer edge. The second coupling member including a bore through the second blade contacting surface. The bore and the second blade contacting surface meeting to define an inner edge. Blade-engaging protrusions project from at least one of the first and second blade-contacting surfaces. The protrusions are spaced closer to the outer edge than the inner edge.
MEDICAL DEVICE
The invention relates to a medical device with a machine element mounted so as to be linearly movable and at least one linear guide, comprising at least one ball bearing and defining a longitudinal axis, for guiding a linear movement of the machine element parallel to the longitudinal axis, said at least one ball bearing comprising a plurality of balls which are movably held in corresponding ball holders and which guide the machine element, wherein the plurality of ball holders are constructed in the form of elongated holes.
Insertion tool
An insertion tool includes at least one machining region, and at least one fastening region. The at least one fastening region is configured to couple to at least one tool holding fixture of a handheld machine tool, and has at least two fastening elements arranged substantially into a circle around a drive axis. The at least one fastening region is further configured to be at least substantially free of recesses in a radial direction within the circle.
Accessories for oscillating power tools
An accessory for coupling to an oscillating power tool includes a working end portion extending along a working axis and an attachment portion coupled to the working end portion including a top wall, a bottom wall spaced apart from the top wall, and a peripheral wall extending from the top wall to the bottom wall at least partially around the top wall to form a portion of a polygonal shape. A generally U-shaped opening defined in the top wall extends along an attachment axis at an obtuse angle to the working axis and is open to a gap in the peripheral wall. A plurality of radial openings is defined in the top wall between the U-shaped opening and the peripheral wall. The attachment portion is configured to couple the attachment portion to at least two differently configured oscillating power tools.
WORKING MACHINE
An electric-powered tool includes a motor, a unit case, an attachment ring, a clamp shaft, a clamp spring, a tool shaft, and a clamp lever. A term A (N) represents a spring load of the clamp spring provided when the clamp lever is located at a first position. A term B (mm) represents a lever length from a center position of a support shaft to a position of the clamp lever in a front-rear direction. A term C (degree) represents a turning angle from the first position to the second position of the clamp lever. A term D (mm) represents a movement amount of the clamp shaft provided when the clamp lever is rotated from the first position to the second position. When a relation of a characteristic value Q=(A?D)/(B?C) is established, the characteristic value Q is equal to or smaller than 50 (N/degree).
Work tool
A power tool for driving an accessary removably held between first and second clamp parts includes a first shaft having the first clamp part, a second shaft for moving the second clamp part, a holding member movable relative to the second shaft, a moving member for moving the holding member, and a biasing member for biasing the moving member. The second shaft is disposed inside the first shaft. The holding member enables the second clamp part and the first clamp part to hold the tool accessary therebetween in a first position, and disables the second clamp part and the first clamp part from holding the tool accessary in a second position. The moving member moves the holding member from the first position to the second position, and the biasing member biases the moving member when the holding member is located in the second position.
UNIVERSAL ACCESSORIES FOR OSCILLATING POWER TOOLS
An accessory for coupling to an attachment mechanism of an oscillating power tool includes a working end, an opposite rear end, and a fitment portion adjacent the rear end portion. The fitment portion includes a central opening having a central portion and a rearward portion open to the rear end, and configured to receive a post of a tool clamping mechanism. The fitment portion further includes a first plurality of openings in communication with and extending radially outward from the central portion, a second plurality of openings not in communication with and positioned radially outward from the central portion. The central portion, the first plurality of openings, and the second plurality of openings are configured to couple the fitment portion to a plurality of different configurations of attachment mechanisms for oscillating power tools.
