The blade clamp includes a cover rotatably coupled to the spindle, and a detent movable in a radial direction to adjust the blade clamp between a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. The cover is rotatable between a first rotational position relative to the spindle coinciding with the locked configuration, and a second rotational position relative to the spindle coinciding with the unlocked configuration. The reciprocating saw further includes a barrel surrounding at least a portion of the blade clamp. The barrel includes a plurality of projections extending from the barrel toward the blade clamp. At least one of the projections is engageable with the cover to rotate the cover from the second rotational position to the first rotational position, thereby adjusting the blade clamp from the unlocked configuration toward the locked configuration.

Hand-held tool and clamping device thereof

The present embodiment discloses a hand-held tool and a clamping device thereof. The clamping device of a hand-held tool includes: a mounting base; a clamping unit configured to fasten a working tool in an axial direction; and an operation assembly, including an operating member and a driving member, where the operating member is capable of performing compound motion relative to the mounting base, and the operating member is operable to drive the driving member to selectively mate with and disengage from the clamping unit. In this way, the hand-held tool of the present embodiment has the clamping device. By way of compound motion, not only comfort of operation can be achieved, but also parts can be saved, thereby making the structure simpler and more reliable.

Saw blade

A reciprocating saw blade including a body, an attachment portion, a cutting portion formed on the body including a plurality of cutting teeth, and a plunge point for initiating a plunge cut including a plunge tooth and a leading gullet between the plunge tooth and a first tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth. A first angle of the rake face of the plunge tooth is measured through the plunge tooth. A second angle of the rake face of the first cutting tooth is measured through the first cutting tooth. One of the first angle and the second angle is greater than 90 degrees and the other is less than 90 degrees. At least the first cutting tooth is set. The rake face defining the first angle is spaced from the rake face defining the second angle by a distance greater than the pitch of the plurality of cutting teeth.

Electric-power-driven working device

A chainsaw 1 (electric-power-driven working device) comprises a body case 10, a cutting attachment 20 (work tool), a motor 30 and a battery 90. A front portion 11a of the body case 10 houses the motor 30 and a battery mount-and-release portion 12 is formed on a rear portion 11b of the body case 10. The battery 90 mounted on the battery mount-and-release portion 12 extends in an upper-lower direction across and over a middle portion in a height direction of the rear portion 11b of the body case 10. The side handle 50 arranged to a side face of the body case 10 extends from the front portion 11a to the rear portion 11b of the body case 10. A rear end portion 52 of the side handle is disposed rearward of and below an output shaft 31 of the motor 30.
