Fish holding apparatus
The fish-holding apparatus is a stick device which may be used to take pictures of fish. The device may be attached to any boat that has a pedestal hole to secure the device. In addition, the device may be held in hand by a user, with a fish positioned at one end of the device, so as to allow taking of a picture of the fish itself or of a group picture together with the fish. Further, the apparatus includes additional support members for better stability and gripping elements for improved ease of use. Additionally, the fish-holding apparatus has access for installing a variety of attachable links, to which a wide variety for fish-grips and/or hanging scales may be attached to. The fish-holding apparatus provides a cost-effective, portable, and easy-to-use device for taking pictures of fish.
SYSTEM FOR RETRIEVAL OF OBJECTS LOST IN WATER
A system for retrieval of objects submerged and lost in water is disclosed. The system comprises a gas release cartridge, an activation assembly arranged for activation of the gas release cartridge in response to at least one of: lapse of time, pressure, trigger-wire, indirect water contact, or remote acoustic command or any combination thereof, components of which are all contained in an inflatable bladder. A guide line, one end thereof attached to the bladder and the other end connectable to the object, is housed inside a non-watertight casing together with the inflatable bladder.
System and method for tracking fishing regulations
A system and method for managing and tracking fishing/hunting rules and regulations is provided. The system generally comprises a global positioning system (GPS), a processor operably connected to the GPS, a power supply, a display operably connected to the processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium coupled to the processor and having instructions stored thereon. The system and method are designed to easily and conveniently compile and store information or data related to wildlife sports. The system may use this information to help a user comply with state and federal rules and regulations via the creation of registration strategies and via indicia.

Gimbal for a fishing rod butt
A fishing rod butt includes a tubular member defining a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end of the tubular member is configured to be coupled with a fishing rod. A gimbal assembly is supported at the proximal end of the tubular member. The gimbal assembly includes a gimbal rotatably coupled with the proximal end of the tubular member. The gimbal allows the tubular member to rotate with respect to the gimbal. A washer is arranged between the proximal end of the tubular member and the gimbal. The washer prevents the proximal end of the tubular member from directly contacting the gimbal.

Fishing magnifier
A magnifier for use while fishing comprises a bracket for temporary and convenient attachment to a cylindrical fishing rod, a magnifying lens adjustably attached to that bracket, and a rod guide stop that is inserted inside a rod guide to prevent movement of the bracket. The bracket engages a fishing rod and supports a magnifying lens that is conveniently retained in position on the fishing rod thereby enabling use of the magnifying lens by a user in proximity to the fishing rod.
Fish-R Rul-R
An article of manufacture for providing a region- and species-specific fish-measuring device with fish catch or release rules is disclosed. The article has a base member having a top surface and a first end, a starting end surface member coupled to the first end of the base member, and a measuring ruler along the top surface of the base member. The starting end surface member extending upward perpendicular to the top surface of the base member. The measuring ruler having a measuring starting position from the starting end surface member, a plurality of measuring sections, and a legend. The plurality of measuring sections each contain one or more graphic representations of fish species legal to keep when a measured fish is at least as long as the measuring section fish species to which the measured fish belongs.
