EXCHANGEABLE MACHINING UNIT
An exchangeable machining unit (1) for a machining centre (2) for machining workpieces (5) that preferably consist at least in sections of wood, wood-based materials, plastic or the like is disclosed, wherein the exchangeable machining unit (1) comprises a generator (10) for generating energy, selected from the group consisting of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal energy, and radiation and vibration energy, in particular mechanical rotation energy of a drive spindle, in particular of a milling spindle, and has a drive (12) that can be supplied with energy by means of the generator (10). The generator (10) comprises an in particular releasable torque interface (14) for transmitting a torque from the outside to the machining unit (1). The generator (10) is configured to be driven by means of the torque, wherein the drive (12) is driven using the energy from the generator (10). A machining centre having such an exchangeable machining unit is also disclosed.

A method of making a wooden board assembly includes A) determining a scrap portion of a trunk; B) cutting the trunk horizontally to form multiple boards; C) removing narrow scraps and trimmed sections of each of the multiple boards to obtain multiple trimmed wide boards, and cutting narrow board areas from the scrap portion to form multiple peripheral boards; D) removing a part of the scrap portion and two trimmed sections from each of the multiple peripheral boards; E) connecting the multiple trimmed wide boards and the multiple peripheral boards to form a substrate; F) adhering two straps on the substrate to produce a wood pattern assembly; G) cutting the wood pattern assembly to form multiple cut films; H) adhering one of the multiple cut films with a nonwoven fabric with a transparent adhesive and connecting the multiple cut films on a fixing lamination; and I) cutting the fixing lamination.

Disposable cutting board and cutlery
A disposable cutting board and a process for the manufacture of the disposable cutting board are disclosed. The disposable cutting board includes a center layer, a first outer layer, and a second outer layer. The center layer has opposed outer surfaces and is made from a block of wood which is substantially free of sugar, lathed, and sanded. At least the first outer layer is a wax paper and is bonded to one of the outer surfaces of the center layer for forming the disposable cutting board. In another aspect, disposable cutlery and a process for the manufacture of the disposable cutlery are disclosed. The disposable cutlery is made from a block of wood substantially free of sugar, lathed, sanded, and impregnated with wax.

The activation device includes at least one supply line for supplying an activation medium as well as a nozzle body having an activation medium inlet duct and an activation medium outlet region. The activation medium outlet region includes at least one outlet opening. The activation device also includes precisely one closure to close the outlet opening of the activation medium outlet region.

A method of manufacturing includes cutting a first natural or non-composite veneer sheet to a first length, cutting a second natural or non-composite veneer sheet to the first length, coating an inner surface of the first natural or non-composite veneer sheet with an adhering means, coating an inner surface of the second natural or non-composite veneer sheet with an adhering means, coating a plurality of veneer strands with an adhering means, placing the plurality of veneer strands on the inner surface of the first natural or non-composite veneer sheet, placing the second natural or non-composite veneer sheet on top of the plurality of veneer strands to create a mat, compressing the mat in an unheated pre-press, and compressing the mat in a hot press at an elevated temperature to create a panel.
