Shark repellent system
A system for repelling sharks is disclosed. Magnets are connected to a rod along its length. If necessary, the rod may be extended. Additionally, one or more flotation devices may be connected to the rod to manipulate or adjust the buoyancy of the system, depending on the user's objective(s). The rod is connected to a fishing line once a fish is hooked and is in close proximity to the boat or other structure from which the fisherman is fishing. The weight of the rod and magnets cause the rod to slide down to the end of the fishing line, where the rod will come in contact with the hooked mouth of the fish. As the fish struggles during the fight, the rod creates a protective magnetic field around the fish to deter sharks from engaging the fish.
Outrigger line management system
A line management system for an outrigger structure is provided for guiding outrigger cords through cord passages to maintain an independent longitudinal displacement in order to prevent entanglement. The system includes a plurality of outrigger cords, cord management units, and retention devices. The plurality of cord management units are coupled to the outrigger structure and are longitudinally spaced one from the other along the outrigger structure. Each of the cord management units defines a plurality of transversely offset cord passages respectively guiding predetermined ones of outrigger cords to maintain an independent longitudinal displacement relative to the outrigger structure.
SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS FOR MEASURING THE LENGTH OF A FISH
Embodiments of the present invention seek to provide an accurate way to measure the length of a fish. Some embodiments of the present invention propose utilizing a known length of a marker within a camera view or picture to determine the length of the fish also shown in the same camera view or picture. This determination could be performed in real-time or later remotely. Further, the measurement of the length of the fish is reliable because it is not dependent on a zoom value or angle of the camera and there is no required measurement device. Further, the technique is easy to use and can be performed with a camera phone or tablet.

Ice Hole Liner
Disclosed is an ice hole liner with a handle. The liner is placed in an ice hole during freezing conditions with the outer wall of the liner contacting the inner wall of the ice hole. When the surface of the ice hole freezes the liner is pulled out of the frozen ice hole which clears the hole of ice. The liner also serves as a stable base to which fishing devices and rod holders can be attached so a fish can't pull them down the ice hole.

FISHING LURE
The disclosed artificial fishing lures have an elongated, flexible body with a pre-formed hole through the body. The hole has a longitudinal portion that extends along a central axis of the body some length, which in some examples is at least mid-way along the entire length of the body of the lure. The hole has a second portion that extends from the central axis at an angle to cause the hole to end on an exterior surface of the body of the lure. The hole is large enough to allow the fishing lure to slide along a fishing line that is threaded through the hole. The hole diameter is larger than the diameter of the line, in some example 50% larger, and is smaller than a diameter of a fishing hook attached to the end of the line, which allows the fishing lure to slide along the line easily and be stopped by the fishing hook so it does not slide off the line and hook combination. Other lure stops can be used as well.

Multi-functional aquatic vehicle and system thereof
A multi-functional aquatic vehicle comprises a main body. The main body comprises: a propulsion system, comprising at least one propeller for changing a motion attitude of the main body; a camera system, comprising at least one camera; a communication system, comprising a signal receiving module for receiving an external signal detected by the aquatic vehicle and a signal transmitting module for transmitting a signal to an external control system; and a control system, for controlling an operating state of the propulsion system, adjusting a capturing angle of the camera system and controlling internal and external communication of the communication system. A towing hook device comprises: a driving system, a connecting mechanism and a towing hook mechanism. The driving system drives the connecting mechanism to rotate such that the towing hook mechanism turns over or rotates to release a load.
