A multifunction plate of wood repair apparatus includes a feeding device for moving raw plates of wood; a cutting and gluing device disposed downstream of the feeding device for cutting front and rear ends of each plate of wood and joining adjacent plates of wood together as a unit of predetermined size by gluing; a repairing device disposed downstream of the cutting and gluing device for identifying locations of damaged areas of the plates of wood, the repairing device including an upper mold, a female mold under the upper mold, a chips exiting device under the female mold, a lower mold under the chips exiting device, and a drive device under the lower mold and operatively connected to both the upper mold and the lower mold; and a collecting device disposed downstream of the repairing device for collecting the repaired plates of wood.

SEALANT SPREADER DEVICE FOR USE IN PREPARING HOLES FOR GLUED-IN-ROD STRUCTURES

A sealant spreader device fills voids around a drilled hole with sealant in glued-in-rod (GIR) structures. A liquid sealant may be applied to the base of a drilled hole. A sealant spreader device is then inserted to the base of the drilled hole, through the sealant. The sealant spreader device is then withdrawn while rotating. The sealant spreader device includes winged sections having contours which force the sealant radially outward toward walls of the hole, into any voids around the circumference of the drilled hole, and leaves a thin layer of sealant around the circumference of the drilled hole.

ADHESIVE AND RELEASE LINER APPLICATION SYSTEM

An adhesive and release liner application system and method. A bottom table is slidable with respect to a frame and a middle table is slidable with respect to the bottom table. An elevator drive subsystem between a top table and the middle table is configured to adjust the elevation of the top table relative to the middle table. An adhesive head, connected to an adhesive supply subsystem, a release liner applicator, a release liner cutter, and a staple gun are mounted to the top table for applying the adhesive to a surface of a structural member positioned adjacent the top table, for applying a release liner over the adhesive on the surface, for inserting at least one staple through the release liner and into the surface, and for cutting the release liner.

The glue injecting apparatus is configured for use with an adhesive. The glue injecting apparatus is configured for use in injecting the adhesive to a mortise and tenon joint. The glue injecting apparatus comprises a pedestal, a reservoir, a pump, and a nozzle assembly. The reservoir contains the adhesive. The pedestal supports the reservoir above a supporting surface. The pump: 1) attaches the nozzle assembly to the reservoir; and, 2) generates a pressure differential, which is used for transporting the adhesive through the nozzle assembly to the mortise and tenon joint. The nozzle assembly is a flexible structure capable of supporting a fluid under pressure.

Heat pump dispenser

A heat pump dispenser includes a housing having a handle portion and a barrel portion. A feeder section is coupled to the handle portion. The feeder section includes a feeder mechanism and a dispensing trigger assembly operably coupled to the feeder mechanism. The feeder mechanism includes a gear assembly having a drive gear operably engaged to a plunger housed in the barrel portion. The trigger assembly includes a trigger having a ratchet portion. The ratchet portion selectively engages and rotates the drive gear to move the plunger toward a dispensing opening provided in the barrel portion and into engagement with an adhesive/filler stick. The feeder mechanism is selectively actuated by the dispensing trigger assembly to advance the adhesive/filler stick into a heater section of the barrel portion.

BRIDGE FOR USE WITH WOODWORKING CLAMPS AND METHOD OF USE
20240239002 · 2024-07-18 · ·

A woodworking bridge has two base walls or components that enable the bridge to span an abutment or joint between two work pieces. A top surface enables a clamp to engage the bridge to permit the clamp to apply a clamping force to a first work piece and a second work piece on both sides of the joint and prevent the clamp from contacting the joint. This allows any adhesive that oozes from the joint to be cleaned without curing in the top surface and/or the bottom surface of the two work pieces. The work pieces may then be stained without any cured adhesive in the pores of the work pieces where stain is applied.
