COLLAPSIBLE LOG SPLITTING ASSEMBLY WITH SAFETY PERIMETER
A collapsible log splitting assembly with safety perimeter splits a log with a parabolic-shaped blade, a blade housing having a plurality of ridges for separating the split log further, and a perimeter barrier for retaining the log upright while splitting, and protecting an operator from contact with blade. The assembly has an upright disposition that is pivotally collapsible into a planar configuration when not in use. The assembly has a base that is for support on a surface. The base includes a pair of brackets. A pair of sleeves pivotally join with the brackets, pivoting about the brackets. A pair of shafts slide within sleeves, sliding between operational and collapsed positions. A cutting apparatus comprises a blade housing that houses a parabolic blade, and extends between the shafts. Ridges along the base housing separate the log into smaller components. The perimeter barrier detachably attaches to top end of the shafts.
PRESSURE ROLLER SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR ELIMINATING PLANER SNIPE AND CONFIGURED FOR QUICK CHANGE
Disclosed herein is a system for substantially reducing, or eliminating, planer snipe on workpieces passing through the work area of a woodworking machine and providing a quick change out and adjustment of a press roller mounted to the hood of the woodworking machine.

BAND SAW WITH IMPROVED SAFETY SYSTEM
A band saw including a frame, at least two, spaced apart, rotatable wheels supported by the frame, a blade looped around the wheels, where rotation of at least one wheel causes the blade to move around the wheels, a detection system adapted to detect a dangerous condition between a person and the blade, and a reaction system configured to engage and stop the blade within 10 milliseconds after detection of the dangerous condition is disclosed. The reaction system may be configured to cut and grip the blade.

Power tool operator protection system and method
A power tool operator protection system comprises a plurality of wearable position sensors configured to be worn by an operator of a handheld power tool; a power tool position sensor configured to detect the position of a handheld power tool; and processing equipment configured to generate a model of the operator based on the mutual positions of the respective wearable sensors relative to each other, the mutual positions defining the operator's posture; associate each of a plurality of limbs (32a-g) of the operator with a respective protection volume (30a-g); and based on the position and/or motion of the power tool in relation to the protection volume (30a-g) indicating an imminent danger that the working implement enters a protection volume (30a-g), generate a protection signal.

Panel with different groove depths
A method for forming grooves in a board element. An exemplary method includes arranging the board element in contact with a support member, and forming at least one groove in a rear side of the board element by removing material, such as chips, from the board element by rotating one or more cutting devices including a plurality of tooth elements configured to rotate around a rotational axis. A method further includes counteracting, such as preventing, a displacement of the board element away from the support member during forming of the at least one groove, wherein the counteracting, such as preventing, includes arranging at least a portion of the board element between an obstruction element and the support member.
