A manufacturing process is disclosed which relates to the technical field of the manufacture of wood panels, used in the manufacture of furniture, decorative pieces, floorings, partitions, stairs, doors and other applications in the construction industry, more specifically to a manufacturing process and products resulting from panels featuring structural edges made of pieces of wood and central core in a composition of branch/trunk stumps and resin. The invention presents as innovation, a manufacturing process (1) of decorative surface panels (2), using as raw material in their core and texture, tree branch and trunk stumps (3) originating from pruning or that were ripped off due to the action of the wind or natural causes, which have had resin applied (6) inside the structural base plates (4) of the desired shapes or part of them, consisting of ends or edges (5) made of pieces of wood, preferably reclaimed from the construction industry.

DEVICE FOR REDUCING THE SIZE OF FEED MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A SIZE REDUCTION DEVICE OF THIS TYPE

A device and method for reducing a size of feed material. The device has a knife ring that is stationary within a housing or rotates around an axis. The knife ring has rod-shaped knife carriers that are disposed concentrically around the axis in an axis-parallel position at a mutual circumferential distance from each other and that form an inner circumferential surface of the knife ring with their sides facing the axis. Each knife carrier having a receptacle for fastening a flaking knife. The flaking knife protruding by its edge between two knife carriers into the flaking chamber. A measuring instrument includes at least one distance sensor that measures a distance of the inner circumferential surface and/or the edges of the flaking knives from the at least one distance sensor.

Comminution process to produce engineered wood particles of uniform size and shape from cross-grain oriented wood chips

The inertial force wood cutting device includes a trailer and a fuel engine which is fixed to the trailer by bolts. A cutting cabin is fixed to the trailer by bolts. A first and second rotating shaft are rotatably arranged in the cutting cabin. At least two cutting blades are arranged on the first and second rotating shaft in a sleeving manner. A second and first rotating shaft gear are fixedly arranged at ends of the first and second rotating shaft through keys. The fuel engine drives the flywheel to rotate through the driving belt. The flywheel will be meshed and driven by the first and second rotating shaft gear and a gear coaxial with the flywheel. When the flywheel reaches a certain rotating speed, a powerful inertial force will be generated. Wood is fed from the feeding hopper, and wood moves down to be cut by the cutting blades.

Wood chipper knife

A wood chipper knife includes a knife body and, in relation to a vertical axis of the wood chipper knife, at least one cutter side, which comprises a top cutting edge portion and a bottom cutting edge portion that intersect to form a cutting edge. The bottom cutting edge portion includes a planar wood attacking portion, which begins at the cutting edge and towards the knife body is followed by a recess. The recess is a pressure release recess, which, from the wood attacking portion, abruptly falls to a bottom of the pressure release recess, and which stretches from the wood attacking portion to the knife body. The knife body comprises a chip guiding portion, which, from the pressure release recess, rises towards the knife body.

Method and device for adjusting a knife assembly of a knife ring to a predetermined knife projection

A method and a device for adjusting a knife assembly of a knife ring to a predetermined knife projection, wherein the knife assembly is designed to be arranged in the knife ring at a chip angle , relative to the inside of the knife ring. The knife assembly is formed by a knife holding plate and a chipping knife which are positively connected with one another in a predetermined, relative target position. A knife assembly to be adjusted is provided, wherein the knife holding plate and the chipping knife are displaceable relative to one another. The knife holding plate is displaced in its plane, transversely to its direction of longitudinal extension towards its rear edge, against a first stop. The chipping knife is displaced in its plane against the stop surface of a second stop, until the predetermined knife projection has been reached.
