Method of manufacturing wall elements for buildings
A method of manufacturing wall elements for buildings, cross laminated timber panels of a specific width and length stocks in a store, and the panels are sawed up transversely to the longitudinal direction to obtain cross laminated timber panels of the same width and smaller length. A plurality of panels are placed onto a conveying track transversely to the direction of running, and indeed such that the panels are flush at the top and bottom and the side edges of consecutive panels contact one another. The panels on the conveying track are connected along the contacting longitudinal sides to form a cross laminated timber apron. The apron is sawed up transversely to the direction of running of the conveying track to obtain cross laminated timber boards of a defined width.
TRACK FOR ROLLING VEHICLE AND METHODS OF FABRICATING AND ASSEMBLING THE TRACK
A track for a roller coaster is provided. The track includes a plurality of layers that are each constructed from a plurality of layer segments prefabricated with an automated precision cutting device.
LAMINATED BAMBOO STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS AND PANELS AND METHODS OF FORMING THEM
A bamboo structural element (21) including slats (5) that have matching inner and outer radii. The slats (5) are nested and stacked to form a laminated stack (19), the stack being squared off to form a rectangular element (21), as by planing each of its four faces. In embodiments, selected fibers may be procured through radial planing, and the selected fibers incorporated into products. Alternatively, slats (5) can be shredded or crushed to form shredded or crushed fibers which can be incorporated into products.
Nailing machine for assembling wood pallets or the like
A nailing machine for assembling wood pallets includes a nailing station and an advancement and guiding component which form a substantially horizontal resting surface at the nailing station configured for the assembly of at least two superimposed wood pieces to be assembled by nailing to provide a pallet. The nailing station includes at least one nailing head, each of which is associated with at least one nailing stem, which can move along a substantially vertical direction with respect to the resting surface between an inactive position, in which the lower end of the nailing stem is spaced from the upper surface of the superimposed wood pieces, and an active position, in which the lower end of the nailing stem is moved closer to, or made to penetrate, the upper surface of the superimposed wood pieces.
Method for making modular armrest
A method for making modular armrest includes the steps of providing at least fourteen blank wood pieces, arranging the blank wood pieces in juxtaposed relationship, bonding the arranged blank wood pieces to obtain a bonded blank assembly, and marking four sawlines to divide a front surface of the bonded blank assembly into five trapezoid zones, the middle tree of which has the same surface area. Among the three middle trapezoid zones, the inbetween is an inverted form of each of the flank ones such that the inbetween corresponds to a widthwise profile of the modular armrest while each of the flank ones corresponds to an inverted form of the widthwise profile.
Pallet assembly system
A fastener delivery system for transporting and dispensing fasteners comprises a source of pressurized air, a dispenser configured for dispensing each of the fasteners into a workpiece, a first pathway providing a first passageway for the fasteners to pass through, and a second pathway providing a second passageway for the fasteners to pass through. Each of the first pathway and the second pathway is placed in selective fluid communication with the source of pressurized air to blow one of the fasteners disposed in the first pathway or the second pathway towards the dispenser. The dispenser includes a toggle feature for alternatingly receiving the fasteners from each of the first pathway and the second pathway. Each of the pathways includes an air brake mechanism for decelerating each of the fasteners as each of the fasteners approaches the dispenser.
Automated systems and methods for floor and ceiling units in the construction of modular building units
A system and method for assembling framing assemblies for use as ceiling or floor structures of modular building units using automation are disclosed. The framing assemblies include trusses that are attached at the lateral edges thereof by a joist including at least one layer of dimensional lumber to form a substantially rigid framework. Cover panels are positioned over and attached to an inner surface of the framing assembly.
System and method for optimizing the manufacture of wooden panels
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for optimizing wood panel creation. An exemplary apparatus is configured to receive information related to a customer order; assemble, based at least partially on the received information, a plurality of wooden staves; adhere the plurality of wooden staves to one another such that a ribbon of staves is formed; position the ribbon of staves on a first conveyor belt such that it is transferred to a portion of the device for curing; cure the ribbon of staves using the fourth unit of the production device; resize such that a panel is formed, wherein resizing the ribbon of staves comprises removing an excess portion of the ribbon of staves; and return the excess portion of the ribbon of staves on a second conveyor belt to another unit of the production device.
Board for musical instrument, and stringed instrument
The board for a musical instrument according to the present disclosure includes: a first base layer; and a pair of first reinforcement layers laminated on both face sides of the first base layer, in which the first reinforcement layers includes a fiber and a binder, and the fiber is a polyparaphenylenebenzobisoxazole fiber, a liquid crystal polyester fiber, an aramid fiber, a polyarylate fiber, an ultra high-molecular weight polyethylene fiber, a polyethylene naphthalate fiber or a glass fiber.
