Transfer film and membrane coverings for panel products
A membrane covered panel and a membrane covered panel production method are provided wherein an elastomeric membrane, and preferably, an aqueous elastomeric resin-based membrane, is applied to a finished panel construct, prior to pressing of the membrane covered panel. The method is used to produce panels which can be used in the production of flooring materials, wall panels, furniture, countertops, and the like. The membrane is applied to a transfer film, which transfer film can be removed at any time prior to, or after the pressing operation. The panels produced have a durable but elastic surface which can protect the surfaces of the panel construct. The elastomeric covering on the panel construct also preferably provides a surface which is abrasion resistant, and provides better acoustical properties while providing a soft touch haptic surface.
METHOD FOR FINISHING A WOOD BOARD
The invention relates to a method for finishing a wood board with an upper face and a lower face. A layer of liquid synthetic resin is first applied at least onto the upper face or the lower face, and at least one paper ply soaked with a synthetic resin is then applied. The structure is then pressed in a press under high pressure and at a high temperature, wherein the synthetic resin melts and is connected to the upper face or the lower face of the wood board. The invention is characterized in that the upper face and/or the lower face is provided while still having a press skin and in an ungrounded state, and the layer is applied so thinly that the liquid synthetic resin is completely drawn into the press skin, the layer is not actively dried, and the paper ply is positioned on the press skin.
Floor board
A floor board comprising a substrate having side edges and a decorative surface layer applied to said substrate, said substrate comprising MDF or HDF material at at least one of said side edges, wherein said at least one side edge is treated with an impregnation agent; said at least one side edge together with a side edge opposite thereto forming a first pair of opposite side edges of said substrate; wherein said floor board further comprises a second pair of opposite side edges; wherein at least second pair of opposite side edges comprises mechanical coupling parts allowing to couple said floor board at the respective side edges with a similar floor board by means of a downward motion such that, in a coupled condition, said floor board and said similar floor board become locked both in a direction perpendicular to the plane formed by the coupled floor boards, as well as in a direction perpendicular to the coupled side edges and in the plane of the coupled floor boards.
METHOD OF PRODUCING A VENEERED ELEMENT
A method of producing a veneered element, including providing a substrate, applying a sub-layer on a surface of the substrate, applying a veneer layer on the sub-layer, and applying pressure to the veneer layer and/or the substrate, such that at least a portion of the sub-layer permeates through the veneer layer. Also, such a veneered element.
Floor panel
A floor panel includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate. The top layer is composed of a print and a transparent thermoplastic layer having a thickness of 0.5 mm or less and being situated above said print. The floor panel, at least on two opposite edges, is provided with a straight or curved chamfer extending to below the global level of the print.

Fractional Dispersion for Waterproofing Material Containing Lignocellulose
The invention relates to a process for forming a wood-base product comprising the steps of a) providing particles of wood, b) resinating the particles of wood with a binder, c) compressing the resinated particles of wood to form a wood-base product, wherein before, during or after step b) the particles of wood and/or the binder are brought into contact with a broken dispersion. The invention also relates to the use of a polyfunctional compound as demulsifier for breaking a wax-containing dispersion containing an aqueous phase as continuous phase, a disperse phase containing wax and at least one emulsifier. The invention further relates to a broken dispersion for hydrophobicizing lignocellulose-containing material, wherein the broken dispersion is obtainable by mixing at least mixed a wax-containing dispersion A) containing the following components: i) at least one aqueous phase as continuous phase, ii) at least one disperse phase containing wax, and iii) at least one emulsifier, with a demulsifier B) having at least one functional group. The invention additionally relates to a two-component system (kit-of-parts) containing at least two components A and B: a wax-containing dispersion A) containing at least one aqueous phase as continuous phase, at least one disperse phase containing wax, and at least one emulsifier, and a demulsifier B) having at least one functional group for breaking the wax-containing dispersion.
Cooling Device for Flat Pieces and Method for Cooling Flat Pieces
A cooling device for flat pieces and a method including a first cooling element with a first contact surface with the flat piece and a second cooling element with a second contact surface with the flat piece; wherein the first and second cooling element are located facing each other, defining a space between them to introduce the flat piece, and wherein the first cooling element includes a cooling circuit and second cooling element includes another cooling circuit, respectively, distributed evenly along the first and second contact surface with the flat piece through which a continuous flow of liquid coolant circulates. The flat piece is cooled until it reaches the desired temperature in order to then be removed and stored.
