Method and plant for manufacturing ceramic products
A method and a plant (i.e., system or assembly) for manufacturing ceramic products comprising the steps of feeding a mixture of ceramic powders so as to obtain a powder material strip; compacting the powder material strip so as to obtain a compacted powder layer; acquiring a surface image of the compacted powder layer that reproduces the respective surface chromatic effects; processing said surface image so as to obtain a graphic decoration to be applied on the surface of the compacted powder layer that is coordinated with the respective chromatic effects in the thickness; and printing the graphic decoration on the surface of the compacted powder layer.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING WAFER MOUNTING TABLE
A method of manufacturing a wafer mounting table according to an embodiment includes: (a) a step of loading a ceramic slurry containing a ceramic powder and a gelling agent into opening portions of a metal mesh, inducing a chemical reaction of the gelling agent to gelate the ceramic slurry, and then performing degreasing and calcining to prepare a ceramic-loaded mesh; (b) a step of sandwiching the ceramic-loaded mesh between a first ceramic calcined body and a second ceramic calcined body obtained by calcining after mold cast forming so as to prepare a multilayer body; and (c) a step of hot press firing the multilayer body to prepare the wafer-receiving table.

Process for making tiles
Ceramic tiles may be prepared employing a process characterized by the addition to the ceramic raw materials of an aqueous slurry comprising a swellable clay of the smectite family, a binder and a water-soluble salt of a monovalent cation. The ceramic raw materials mixed and then subjected to wet grinding to produce a slip. The thus obtained slip is then subjected to spray drying.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COMPOSITE PART CONTAINING A CERAMIC MATRIX
A process for manufacturing a composite material part including a particulate reinforcement densified by a ceramic matrix, the process including: formation of a blank of the part to be manufactured by shaping a mixture including a binder, first ceramic or carbon particles intended to form the particulate reinforcement of the part and second ceramic or carbon particles distinct from the first particles, removal or pyrolysis of the binder present in the blank to obtain a porous preform of the part to be manufactured, and infiltration of the porosity of the preform by a molten composition including a metal in order to obtain the part.
METHOD OF MAKING CERMET OR CEMENTED CARBIDE POWDER
The present disclosure relates to a method of making a powder of dense and spherically shaped cemented carbide or cermet granules. The present disclosure also relates to a powder produced by the method and use of said powder in additive manufacturing such as 3D printing by the binder jetting technique. Furthermore, the present disclosure relates to a Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) process for manufacturing a product by using said powder.
DENTAL MILL BLANK AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
The present invention provides a dental mill blank that exhibits desirable resistance against wear in opposing teeth. The present invention relates to a dental mill blank comprising: an inorganic filler containing an inorganic filler (A) and an inorganic filler (B); and a polymer, the inorganic filler (A) partly forming an aggregate, and the dental mill blank satisfying the following formulae (I) to (III),
0.001a<0.32(I)
0.3b10(II)
5x80(III),
where a is an average primary particle diameter of the inorganic filler (A) in micrometers, b is an average primary particle diameter of the inorganic filler (B) in micrometers, and x is an average particle diameter of the aggregate in micrometers.
Preferably, the dental mill blank comprises an island component containing the aggregate, and a sea component containing the inorganic filler (A) and the inorganic filler (B).
MANUFACTURING METHOD OF MAGNESIUM-ALUMINIUM SPINEL BRICK AND MAGNESIUM-ALUMINIUM SPINEL BRICK MANUFACTURED BY THE METHOD
A manufacturing method of a low heat-conducting magnesium-aluminium spinel brick includes: (1) evenly mixing sintered magnesia, fused magnesia, magnesium-aluminium spinel and corundum to prepare flame retardant coating raw material mixed powder, adding naphthalene binder to the flame retardant coating raw material mixed powder to prepare the flame retardant coating raw materials after evenly mixing; (2) evenly mixing forsterite, fayalite and magnesia, adding the naphthalene binder to the mixed powder, moulding, drying, and then burning to obtain aggregate composite hortonolite raw materials; adding the naphthalene binder to the aggregate composite hortonolite having granularity 5 mm to prepare the thermal insulating layer raw materials after evenly mixing; (3) spacing and loading the flame retardant coating raw materials and the thermal insulating layer raw materials in a mold, pressing into green bricks, keeping the green bricks at a temperature of 110 C. for 24 hours, drying, and burning into magnesium-aluminium spinel bricks.
