The retaining wall block includes a body having a first textured surface and a second textured surface and a false joint dividing the first and second textured surface. The false joint can have a depth divided by the width greater than two inches. The false joint can have an interior angle of less than ten degrees. The system includes a plurality of retaining wall blocks and a first course of retaining wall blocks engaged with a second course of retaining wall blocks below. Each block in the system comprising a front face having a first textured surface and a second textured surface and a false joint dividing the first and second textured surface. The false joint can extend a predetermined depth of a third surface.
Method and device for removal of items from a mold
A method and device for removal of a molded sample from a mold with minimal or no damage to the molded sample. The device includes a drill configured for perforating a wall of the mold with the formation of a through aperture, a shroud passageway through or adjacent the drill, and a passageway from a source for pressurized fluid leading to the shroud passageway. The shroud passageway is configured whereby fluid such as air is applied therethrough simultaneously with perforation operation of the drill. Air directed through the aperture is pressurized and comes into effective contact with the molded sample whereby the molded sample is prevented from being more than minimally contacted with the drill and caused to be removed from the mold.
MOLD ASSEMBLY FOR MOLDING TWO CONCRETE BLOCKS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CONCRETE BLOCKS
A mold assembly and method for molding two concrete blocks in face-to-face non-contacting relationship forms blocks having smooth front faces. The mold assembly includes a mold box having two mold cavities configured to form two blocks in face-to-face non-contacting relationship. A common partition plate separates the two mold cavities and opposite sides of the partition plate form the smooth front faces of the blocks. The two mold cavities are each configured to form a block having a raised front face with a beveled edge around its entire perimeter and a border around the entire perimeter of the beveled edge. The portions of the border at the top and the sides of the raised front face are curved and the portion of the border at the bottom of the raised front face is straight. A core bar is slidably inserted into the mold box beneath the bottom of the partition plate, and opposite sides of the core bar extend into and form the front bottom portions of the mold cavities.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A MOLD INSERT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MOLDINGS, AND MOLD INSERT AND ITS USE
A method of manufacturing a mold insert for the production of moldings, in particular blocks or slabs, in which a plurality of strips that form wall elements of the mold insert to be manufactured are interlocked by connecting elements and the interlocked strips are soldered to each other. There is also described a mold insert for producing moldings and to its use.
Retaining wall containing wall blocks with weight bearing pads
A retaining wall having a plurality of courses of retaining wall blocks including a first upper course and a second lower course. Each retaining wall block has opposed front and rear faces, opposed first and second side surfaces, and opposed and substantially parallel upper and lower surfaces, and at least one weight bearing pad extends from one of the upper and lower surfaces. The at least one weight bearing pad extends substantially from the rear face to the front face of the block. The weight bearing pads are the only areas of contact between the blocks in the first upper course and the blocks in the second lower course.
LITHIUM STUFFED GARNET SETTER PLATES FOR SOLID ELECTROLYTE FABRICATION
Setter plates are fabricated from Li-stuffed garnet materials having the same, or substantially similar, compositions as a garnet Li-stuffed solid electrolyte. The Li-stuffed garnet setter plates, set forth herein, reduce the evaporation of Li during a sintering treatment step and/or reduce the loss of Li caused by diffusion out of the sintering electrolyte. Li-stuffed garnet setter plates, set forth herein, maintain compositional control over the solid electrolyte during sintering when, upon heating, lithium is prone to diffuse out of the solid electrolyte.

PRODUCTION PLANT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CONCRETE TUBBING IN A TUNNEL LINING SYSTEM
The invention relates to a production plant for producing concrete tubbing (500) for a tunnel lining system having at least one formwork (10) for producing the concrete tubbing (500), wherein the production plant is designed either as a carousel system, which has at least one production line (200) with at least two work stations (210, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260) and with at least one transport route (110) between the at least two work stations (210, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260), each for executing at least one operation step in the production of the concrete tubbing (500), or as a stationary plant with at least two stationary formworks (10), wherein the operation steps necessary for producing the concrete tubbing (500) are each executed on the formworks (10), and with at least one curing station (300), for curing a concrete filled in the formwork (10) for producing the concrete tubbing (500). At least one robot (140) is provided to execute the at least one operation step on one of the at least two work stations (210, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260) or two formworks (10) are provided. At least one route (120) is provided which extends at least partially along or transverse to the at least one production line (200) or along or transverse to the formwork (10). At least one travel element (130) is provided on which the at least one robot (140) is arranged with a base (131) and with which the at least one robot (140) can be moved at least partially along or transverse to the at least one production line (200) or formwork (10).
Articulating composite surface covering mat and method of making
An articulating composite surface covering mat and process of forming the mat which has multiple units having a regular, natural or irregular appearance, and each unit a flexible geogrid extending therethrough. A method of forming the mat includes forming the mat upside-down on a bottom surface of a bottom mold, placing the top mold over the bottom mold to form the mold assembly, locating a geogrid in the mold assembly, latching the mold assembly together with magnets, and adding the filler to the mold assembly.
Methods for forming noise absorbing barrier walls and related forms
A barrier wall is formed by rotating a mold to a horizontal orientation so that a rear wall of the mold is horizontally disposed and an encircling sidewall upstands from the rear wall, the floor and encircling sidewall at least partially bounding a compartment, an upper end of the encircling sidewall at least partially bounding a first access opening to the compartment. A first material is disposed into the compartment through the first access opening, at least a portion of the material being curable. A cover is placed over the first access opening to enclose the compartment. The mold is then rotated from the horizontal orientation to a vertical orientation. A portion of the sidewall is then moved to form a second access opening to the compartment. A second material is then dispensed into the compartment, at least a portion of the second material being curable.
