Bricks and method of forming bricks with high coal ash content using a press mold machine and variable firing trays

There is provided an apparatus and process for manufacturing a brick or paver with a high content of coal ash (ranging from 60% to 100% coal ash or fly ash) so that a waste product (coal ash, and more particularly Class F coal ash) from a coal-fired power plant is incorporated into a building product (high content fly ash brick or paver). Also provided is a variable firing tray to support the dried, high content coal ash bricks/pavers as the dried products are sent through a tunnel kiln, to improve circulation around the individual bricks/pavers and thereby result in reduced firing time in the kiln.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVEYOR RACK AND ELEVATOR

A system and method for manufacturing a set of cast stones includes a set of spray stations, a set of fill stations, a set of vibration tables, a drying rack, and a demolder connected to the drying rack. A controller is connected to each of the set of spray stations, the set of fill stations, the set of vibration tables, the drying rack, and the demolder, each of which has a set of sensors connected to the controller. The set of spray stations include a set of release stations and a set of color stations. A mold is sprayed with a release product, a set of colors, and then filled with a cementitious material. Once vibrated, the cementitious material is dried to form the set of cast stones, which is then automatically released from the mold utilizing the demolder.

Cement production system

The invention relates to a cement production system with a preheater for preheating the cement raw meal, a calciner for pre-calcining the preheated cement raw meal, and a rotary kiln for firing the pre-calcined cement raw meal, wherein the calciner has a riser pipe through which exhaust gases from the rotary kiln flow. The gas offtake probe is arranged in a calciner nozzle, which is formed by a nozzle-like constricted section of the riser pipe, wherein the gas offtake probe is arranged flush on the calciner nozzle of the riser pipe.

Molding equipment for molding inter-engaging bricks and method of using the same

A molding equipment and method to mold stackable inter-engaging bricks, blocks, stones and the like and bricks, blocks, stones and the like produced therewith are disclosed. The molding equipment comprises a main structure which contains individual cavities. Each cavity preferably has a middle structure to which a brick separating element can be attached. Without the brick separating element, each cavity can form two attached splittable bricks whereas with the brick separating element attached, each cavity can hold two individual smooth or embossed face bricks. The size and shape of the stackable inter-engaging bricks is such that once out of the mold but still in an uncured form, the brick can stand on its side without falling down, being damaged, buckling or being otherwise deformed during the manufacturing process.

REINFORCED CONCRETE MEMBER PRECAST YARD STRUCTURE
