METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MORTAR-BASED ELEMENTS
A method is for manufacturing elements including hydraulic binder and aggregates. The method includes mixing a dry mortar composition including hydraulic binder and aggregates with water, to form a wet mortar. The method also includes pumping and conveying the wet mortar towards an outlet. During the conveying at least two physical properties of the wet mortar are measured on-line. The physical properties include viscosity and at least one of flow and density.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING SURFACE OIL STREAKS ON WET EXTRUDATE BY IRRADIATION
An extrusion system (100) includes at least one sensor (102, 104) to detect localized presence of oil (701) on an exterior surface (715) or skin of wet extrudate material (714 e.g., ceramic material having a honeycomb cross-sectional shape), and at least one infrared emitting device (106, 108) configured to impinge infrared emissions on at least a portion of the exterior surface responsive to one or more sensor signals. Localized impingement of infrared emissions may reduce presence of oil streaks (701) without undue differential drying of the extrudate skin (715), and avoid surface fissures that would otherwise result in fired ceramic bodies. Separately controllable infrared emitters (502), or at least one controllable infrared blocking or redirecting element (603), may be used to impinge infrared emissions on selected areas. A humidification section (120) arranged downstream of infrared emitters (106, 108) may be used to at least partially rehydrate the wet extrudate material, if necessary.
Method and device for producing a three-dimensional object
A method for producing a three-dimensional object on a support by applying layer by layer and selectively solidifying a building material in powder form. The method includes lowering the support to a predetermined height below a working plane, applying a layer of the building material in powder form in the working plane, selectively solidifying the applied powder layer at positions corresponding to a cross-section of the object to be produced and repeating the steps of lowering, applying and selectively solidifying until the object is completed. By doing so, the quantity of applied building material in powder form is reduced in a section in an actively controlled way or substantially no building material in powder form is applied in a section in an actively controlled way.
INLINE EXTRUDATE BOW MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL
Extrusion techniques for reducing bow of an extrudate formed from a ceramic forming mixture. Velocities of an outer surface of the extrudate are measured at a plurality of peripherally spaced measurement locations. The velocities are compared to determine whether there is a velocity bias, and the comparison is used to selectively alter the flow of the ceramic forming mixture.
Hydraulic system for stripping concrete forms
A concrete form for holding a concrete product in place during a curing process with at least one side movable by a rotary driven power source and a actuator. A rotary power tool with a helical cutout combinable to a second adapter on the rotary driven power source to rotate the rotary driven power source to power the actuator and move the at least one side.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPED OBJECT, THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPING SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
A method for manufacturing a three-dimensional shaped object includes: a stacking step of stacking a layer by discharging a shaping material from a nozzle while moving the nozzle with respect to a stage in accordance with shaping data with which a three-dimensional shaped object is shaped, the shaping data including path information indicating a movement path of the nozzle with respect to the stage and discharge amount information indicating a discharge amount of the shaping material in the movement path; and a data changing step of adding a cleaning command for cleaning the nozzle to the shaping data based on information included in the shaping data.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CONCRETE PRODUCTS BY A CASTING METHOD
The present invention relates to a method and system for producing concrete products by casting method by means of casting moulds having outer and inner moulds, having an automated circulation system having a hardening area; an automated manufacturing area; and a conveying unit comprising automated circulation conveyor sections configured to convey the casting moulds from the hardening area to the automated manufacturing area, wherein the automated manufacturing area of the circulation system comprises an automated filling unit configured to fill one or more casting moulds with concrete and a manufacturing station for placing an upper muff onto an already concrete-filled casting mould, wherein the manufacturing station is arranged downstream of the filling unit.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MAKING PRINTED ARTICLES
A system for forming a product with different size particles is disclosed. The system comprises at least one print head region configured to retain a first group of print heads configurable to additively print at least a first portion of the product with a first material and a second group of print heads configurable to additively print at least a second portion of the product with a second material. The described system may also comprise a processor configured to regulate the first group of print heads and the second group of print heads to distribute the first material and the second material. A method of making an object by ink jet printing using the disclosed system is also disclosed.
Artificial tooth molding apparatus and method
An artificial tooth molding apparatus comprises: a calculation control unit (10) configured to calculate and convert 3D graphic data (D_g) required for a process of molding an artificial tooth into continuous tomographic data (D_1) and to output the tomographic data (D_1); an elevation means (20) configured to form the artificial tooth (T); a tank (30) containing the ceramic mixture solution (S) provided for immersion of the formation stage (22) of the elevation means (20); an irradiation means (40) configured to irradiate the formation stage (22) with ultraviolet rays; and a filter part (50) configured to filter an ultraviolet irradiation area irradiated with the ultraviolet rays.
