METHOD FOR ADHERING TO FRESH CONCRETE TEMPERATURES
Method and installation (100) for providing a batch of fresh concrete having a temperature in a predetermined temperature range at a remote point of use, whereby a control unit (140) controls at least one step of cooling of cement and/or aggregate and/or mixing water before mixing and/or of the fresh concrete, during the production of the batch.
Cement Supply Control Systems and Methods
A system comprises a cement mixer, a supply tank to supply dry cement to the cement mixer, and a dry cement height sensor to measure the height of the dry cement in the cement supply tank. A valve controls the flow of dry cement to the cement supply tank based on the signals from the dry cement height sensor. Additional apparatus, methods, and systems are disclosed.
CONCRETE PRODUCT AND METHODS OF PREPARING THE SAME
A concrete product set by pouring a concrete slurry includes a concrete mixture, an aluminum-coated colloidal silica admixture, and optionally, at least one reinforcing fiber selected from the group of fibers. As the poured concrete slurry cures, the poured slurry hardens into a composite material product, and the concrete product defines capillary structures that at least in part fill with aluminum-coated silica and lime. Optional graphene oxide may be used in the concrete slurry, in which embodiment the surrounding aggregate and cement is embedded with graphene oxide flakes. A process for placing a jointless and/or fiberless slab made from the concrete product includes preparing a concrete slurry, pouring the concrete slurry onto substrate, and allowing the concrete slurry to cure.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR DELIVERY OF CARBON DIOXIDE
Provided herein are methods, apparatus, and systems for delivering carbon dioxide as a mixture of solid and gaseous carbon dioxide to a destination.
Method for modifying recycled fine powder of concrete and use thereof
Methods for modifying a recycled fine powder of concrete and uses thereof. A method for modifying a recycled fine powder can include: crushing a collected waste concrete block with a crusher, grinding with a ball mill, and passing through a 100-mesh sieve, to obtain a recycled fine powder with d50 of 13.5 μm; placing the obtained recycled fine powder in a dry environment at a high temperature, drying, then taking out, and cooling to room temperature; preparing tannic acid solutions with different concentrations, mixing the cooled recycled fine powder with the prepared tannic acid solutions, and continuously stirring by a glass rod.
A RECYCLING APPARATUS OF USED BITUMINOUS CONGLOMERATE AND AN AIRTIGHT SUPPORT DEVICE FOR ROTATING CYLINDERS
A recycling apparatus of used bituminous conglomerate and an airtight support device for rotating cylinders are described.
METHOD FOR ADAPTING AN EXISTING CONCRETE PRODUCTS FORMING MACHINE FOR FORMING INFUSED CONCRETE PRODUCTS
A method of retrofitting an existing apparatus for forming concrete products, where the apparatus comprises an existing component located upstream of a product mold and adapted to deliver treated concrete to the product mold, adapts the existing component to treat fresh concrete to be delivered to the product mold by a new component with treated water infused with a concentration of carbon dioxide nanobubbles. The step of adapting comprises adding to the existing component a water delivery system that is configured to direct the treated water into the fresh concrete, where the water delivery system is provided with one or more liquid manifolds configured to dispense the treated water into the fresh concrete to form treated concrete.
System and method for controlling a concrete mixture based on estimated concrete properties
Aspects involve estimating transitions in properties of a concrete mixture prior to batching and during transport of the mixture from a first location, such as a concrete batch plant, to a second location, such as a job site and controlling a mixture of ingredients for concrete in response. A tool may execute a method for estimating an initial temperature at batching and a change in temperature of the concrete mixture during transport due to the exothermic reaction of the mixture, percentages and types of ingredients of the mixture, and/or environmental factors along a transit route. A control system at the concrete batching plant may control one or more components of the concrete batch plant in response to the estimated temperature change, such as a dispenser of an ingredient of the mixture and/or a heating or cooling mechanism to adjust the temperature of an ingredient of the concrete mixture.
Concrete mixing machine
A concrete mixing machine for indoor preparation of fluid concrete for disposition as flooring. The concrete mixing machine includes a mixer tank capable of mixing of twenty-three bags of concrete concurrently. Mixing propellers inside of the mixer tank attach to a shaft, whereby a hydraulic propeller drive motor rotationally moves the shaft, and the mixing propellers mix the concrete. The concrete mixing machine produces a large batch of concrete, and the concrete mixing machine moves and deposits the concrete for application using a flow control mechanism with a flow control mixer attached to the mixer tank that regulates concrete flow through a valve and chute and synchronizes with a flow control drive-wheel. The concrete mixing machine is hydraulically operated and self-propelled. The concrete mixing machine does not emit gases harmful to indoor air quality and thus is environmentally friendly.
Production device for manufacturing products in the form of sheets or blocks, and method thereof
A production device for manufacturing a product in the form of a sheet or a block, including: an initial agitator (1), a primary conveyor belt (2) and a mixing agitator (3); each of initial agitators (1) is configured with the primary conveyor belt (2), one or more stones or a stone-like granular material having a selected particle size and a binder are initially mixed in the initial agitator (1) and then an initial mixture is obtained; the mixing agitator (3) includes a rotating container for undertaking a material; the initial mixture is conveyed to the mixing agitator (3) through the primary conveyor belt (2); more than one initial agitator and matched primary conveyor belts thereof are disposed around the mixing agitator (3) at intervals.
