Device for filtering a plastic melt
A device for filtering a plastic melt, including a housing and a filter pin which is axially and/or radially movable therein. In a working position of the filter pin, plastic melt passes from an inlet channel, through a filtering mechanism, which is detachably fastened to the filter pin, to an outlet channel. In a filter change position of the filter pin, the filtering mechanism is freely accessible for replacing the filtering mechanism, and wherein at least one drainage channel is formed in the filter pin. In a start-up position of the filter pin, one end of the at least one drainage channel is in fluid connection with the at least one inlet channel in order to receive the plastic melt that is fed through the at least one inlet channel and to output the plastic melt at another end of the at least one drainage channel.

Apparatus and method for manufacturing rubber sheet
In one embodiment of an apparatus for manufacturing a rubber sheet, a continuous rubber material is supplied onto a supply conveyor in a meandering state by supplying the continuous rubber material onto the supply conveyor while moving rubber supply device in a reciprocating manner in a roll axial direction. The rubber supply device has a full width moving mode in which the rubber supply device moves in the roll axial direction such that the continuous rubber material has a meandering shape of a width corresponding to a width of a rubber sheet, and a partial width moving mode in which the rubber supply device moves in the roll axial direction such that the continuous rubber material has a meandering shape of a width obtained by excluding widths of both edge portions of the rubber sheet from the width of the rubber sheet.
Methods and apparatus for thermal compensation during additive manufacturing
A method for thermal compensation during an additive manufacturing process. In some aspects, the method may include receiving, at a CNC machine, information relating to a material used in the additive manufacturing process, wherein the received information includes at least a Coefficient for Thermal Expansion (CTE) for the material. The method may further include modifying a distance of travel for a first pre-programmed tool path based on at least the Coefficient for Thermal Expansion (CTE).

FOAMED INJECTION MOULDED ARTICLE
The invention is directed to a foamed injection moulded article comprising a foam composition obtained by foaming high density polyethylene having a quotient of melt strength and apparent viscosity >2 cN/k.Math.Pa.Math.s wherein the melt strength is determined as described in ISO 16790:2005 and the apparent viscosity is determined as described in ISO 11443:2014.
Electrical appliance
An object is to increase the conductivity of an electrode including active material particles and the like, which is used for a battery. Two-dimensional carbon including 1 to 10 graphenes is used as a conduction auxiliary agent, instead of a conventionally used conduction auxiliary agent extending only one-dimensionally at most, such as graphite particles, acetylene black, or carbon fibers. A conduction auxiliary agent extending two-dimensionally has higher probability of being in contact with active material particles or other conduction auxiliary agents, so that the conductivity can be improved.

Curable monomers
The invention relates to methods and a novel powdered curable monomer which may be used to manufacture bulk polymers, adhesives and coatings composite materials with high percentage weight inclusions of particulate filler materials, more specifically to fibre reinforced polymer composite materials with high percentage weight inclusions of particulate filler materials. The preferred particulate filler materials are carbon nanotubes. The method according to the invention allows greater than 0.5 wt % of carbon nanotubes, typically greater 10% wt of carbon nanotubes or other high aspect ratio fillers to be readily incorporated in the resin matrix, before being applied to the fibre reinforcing plys.
