SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INFUSING NANO-TECHNOLOGY INTO PRODUCTION OF PATCH ANTENNAS FOR ARRAY AND POLYMERS AND BIOLOGICAL AND ARTIFICIAL MEMBRANED MATERIAL
20230268662 · 2023-08-24 ·

The present invention introduces the use of a carbon nanotube-based material in the production of phased array patch antennas of various shapes and sizes including slot and spiral patch antennas. The use of this material provides the ability for the antennas to withstand high-intensity shock vibrations and other intense disturbances and continue emitting phased array signals. Furthermore, the use of this material for patch antennas allows for the alteration of the desired frequency and directional degree of interest by simply energizing various elements within the carbon nanotube-based material.

METHOD FOR FORMING AN ARTICLE COMPRISING A PATHWAY OF PARTICLES WHEREIN A TERMINATION OF THE PATHWAY OF PARTICLES EXPOSED

The invention relates to a method for forming an article comprising a pathway of particles wherein a termination of the pathway of particles is exposed. The method comprises arranging the particles by applying an electric field and/or a magnetic field at an interface between a water soluble or a non-water soluble matrix and a matrix comprising a viscous material and particles. After fixating the viscous material, the termination is exposed by dissolving the water soluble or non-water soluble matrix. The invention also relates to articles obtainable by said method, and to the use of said method in various applications.

An elastomeric article is formed from a blend of nitrile rubber and polychloroprene rubber. The elastomeric article can be a glove, such as a medical exam glove. The elastomeric article is softer than a conventional nitrile elastomeric article. The elastomeric article is formed from a blended rubber latex emulsion of nitrile and polychloroprene. The blended rubber latex emulsion may be free of sulfur and vulcanization accelerators.

Method for preparing self-cleaning anti-icing coating based on brushlike organosilicon

The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing a self-cleaning anti-icing coating based on brushlike organosilicon. In this method, a brushlike organosilicon-modified polyurethane coating is prepared by subjecting a thiolactone, a diamine compound and monovinyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane to a simple multi-component click reaction to obtain a dihydroxy-terminated block, and introducing the dihydroxy-terminated block into a polyurethane matrix.

METHOD OF PREPARING A BIODEGRADABLE FILM

A method for producing a polyimide film includes: providing a polyimide coating solution; providing a high temperature resistant polyester substrate; and coating the polyimide coating solution on the high temperature resistant polyester substrate, so that a polyimide wet coating is formed on the high temperature resistant polyester substrate; implementing a first baking step, which includes: baking the polyimide wet coating at a first temperature of between 60° C. and 130° C. to remove a part of organic solvent in the polyimide wet coating; implementing a second baking step, which includes: baking the polyimide wet coating at a second temperature of between 140° C. and 220° C. to remove a residual part of the organic solvent in the polyimide wet coating, so as to form the polyimide film on the high temperature resistant polyester substrate; and separating the polyimide film and the high temperature resistant polyester substrate from each other.

NANOPOROUS COMPOSITE SEPARATORS WITH INCREASED THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY

Nanoporous composite separators are disclosed for use in batteries and capacitors comprising a nanoporous inorganic material and an organic polymer material. The inorganic material may comprise Al.sub.2O.sub.3, AlO(OH) or boehmite, AlN, BN, SiN, ZnO, ZrO.sub.2, SiO.sub.2, or combinations thereof. The nanoporous composite separator may have a porosity of between 35-50%. The average pore size of the nanoporous composite separator may be between 10-90 nm. The separator may be formed by coating a substrate with a dispersion including the inorganic material, organic material, and a solvent. Once dried, the coating may be removed from the substrate, thus forming the nanoporous composite separator. A nanoporous composite separator may provide increased thermal conductivity and dimensional stability at temperatures above 200° C. compared to polyolefin separators.
