Method of delivering a liquid volume and associated apparatus
An apparatus for forming a container from a preform and delivering a predetermined volume of a liquid end product, formed by the addition of first and second liquid products, into the container. The apparatus includes a heating oven to heat the preform, a mold defining a cavity in the shape of the container, a stretch member coupled to an actuator to stretch the preform in the mold, an injection head configured to inject the second liquid product through the mouth of the preform so as to cause expansion of the preform within the mold thereby obtaining the container, and a preform filler to at least partially fill the preform with the first liquid prior to injecting of the second liquid product and before expanding of the preform into the container.
Method for manufacturing mold tooling
A molded pot is provided with imperfections manufactured by manufacturing mold tooling with imperfections by obtaining a handmade pot. The handmade pot is scanned to obtain geometric data. The geometric data is converted to mold tooling geometric data. Mold tooling is manufactured from the mold tooling geometric data. The handmade pot is obtained with imperfections. The handmade pot is scanned to obtain the geometric data of the handmade pot with the imperfections. The geometric data is converted to mold tooling geometric data with the imperfections. The mold tooling is manufactured with imperfections. A pot is molded with imperfections from the mold tooling.
VEHICLE TANK AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR A VEHICLE TANK
A vehicle tank, in particular for holding a fuel, in particular gasoline and/or diesel fuel, having: a first and a second partial shell, wherein the first and second partial shell are connected to one another in a partial shell joining area, and a barrier layer substantially, preferably completely, covering an outer surface of the first partial shell and an outer surface of the second partial shell, respectively, wherein the barrier layer spans the partial shell joining area on an outer surface of the vehicle tank.
Method for the production of a plastic tank comprising an anti-slosh device
A process is disclosed for manufacturing at least one wall of a tank and comprises at least a first layer of thermoplastic and a second foam-based layer. The second foam-based layer forms at least part of an anti-slosh device, and the process is characterized in that the first layer and the second layer are molded in the same mold.

FREE-STANDING BLISTER PACK
A free-standing blister pack made by heating molding plastic material, film or sheet, creating a container portion of a fixed space, storing a product such as cosmetic, fragrance, or homecare products in the space, and having a cover sheet attached to a flange of the container portion so as to create a sealing function. The blister packaging has a support structure to hold the blister upright after the removal of the perforation and score feature allowing the product to remain in a free-standing position after assembly.
Method of Performing a Task in Registration With a Seal In Materials and Flexible Containers Made By Method
A method for performing a task in registration with a discrete seal in at least one material is described herein. The method involves simultaneously forming a discrete seal and a fiducial/eye mark in the at least one material. The method includes providing a detection device; providing a unit operation mechanism; and performing an operation on the material(s) in registration with the discrete seal. The task performed in registration with the discrete seal is based upon the location of the eye mark that was simultaneously formed with the discrete seal. A method of making flexible containers using cutting to form the outer periphery of the packages is described herein. Also described herein are flexible containers and container blanks made by such a method.
CONTAINER AND SET OF PREFORMS FOR FORMING A CONTAINER
Container of a bag-in-container type, wherein a neck region of the container is provided with at least one opening extending substantially radially there through, into a space between the outer container and an inner container adjacent thereto, wherein the neck region is provided with coupling elements, preferably at opposite sides of the at least one opening, seen in circumferential direction, for coupling of a connecting device to the container for introducing a pressure fluid through the at least one opening into a space between the inner and outer container.
Full graphics in-mold label and applications thereof
An in-mold label includes a substrate having a first surface and a second surface. When the in-mold label is molded on to, or into, a plastic product, the first surface faces outward with respect to the plastic product and the second surfaces faces inward with respect to the plastic product. The substrate includes a full graphics area on the second surface. Ink is applied in the full graphics area to provide a full graphics image. To facilitate the molding process, each of the substrate and the ink having a complementary property to a property of the plastic product.
Package, preferably medical, and corresponding set of packages
The invention relates to a package (2; 3) for an object, preferably a medical object, the package comprising a bottom shell (21; 31); a top shell (22; 32) having a closure portion (24; 34) referred to as a “cap”, and a connection portion (23; 33) in the form of a hollow body and connected to the closure portion (24) by a hinge (25) to enable the closure portion (24; 34) to tilt relative to the connection portion (23; 33) in order to release access to the inside of the bottom shell (21; 31) through the connection portion (23; 33). The connection portion (23; 33) is provided with a stiffener element (290; 390) and a sealing strip (4; 4′) connects together the edges (241, 231) of the cap (24; 34) and of the connection portion (23; 33) that face each other over the entire length of said edges. Said connection portion (23; 33) of the top shell (22; 32) and of the bottom shell (21; 31) are two parts that are fastened to each other, preferably by bonding.
