A curable composition containing a magenta pigment; a polymerizable compound; and a polymer including an amino group, where the polymer including the amino group has a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 or more, wherein the polymer including the amino group is at least one selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl group-including carboxylate ester, salts of a long-chain polyamino amide and acid ester having a high molecular weight, salts of polycarboxylic acid having a high molecular weight, salts of long-chain polyaminoamide and polar acid ester, unsaturated acid esters having a high molecular weight, modified polyurethanes, modified polyacrylates, polyether ester anionic surfactants, salts of naphthalenesulfonic acid formalin condensates, polyoxyethylene alkyl phosphoric acid ester, polyoxyethylene nonylphenylether, polyester polyamine, and stearylamine acetate.
FLEXIBLE WALLED CONTAINER
The invention is directed to a flexible, thin walled seamless container. The container includes a rigid bottom component and a rigid top having an opening. The bottom can be formed to have a first shape, such as a rectangle, and the top can be formed to have a second shape different than the first shape, such as a circle. A cap can be connected to the top to block the opening. The cap can include a pour spout or shaker holes.
Systems and methods for manufacturing a microfluidic rotor device
Described herein are various embodiments directed to rotor devices, methods, and systems. Embodiments of rotors disclosed herein may be used to characterize one or more analytes of a fluid. A method may include bonding a first layer and a second layer using two-shot injection molding. The first layer coupled to the second layer may collectively define a set of wells. The first layer may be substantially transparent. The second layer may define a channel. The second layer may be substantially absorbent to infrared radiation. A third layer may be bonded to the second layer using infrared radiation. The third layer may define an opening configured to receive a fluid. The third layer may be substantially transparent. The channel may establish a fluid communication path between the opening and the set of wells.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PAPERBOARD BOTTLE AND PAPERBOARD BOTTLE
A method for manufacturing a paperboard bottle and spiral-wound paperboard bottle. The bottle has a tubular body portion, a shoulder and neck portion having a circular cross-section narrowing from the body portion to a circular mouth. The paperboard bottle is a liquid packaging board having thermoplastic polymer coating on both sides. The method includes cutting a planar elongated blank from a packaging board sheet. Protecting exposed cut raw edge of the first longitudinal edge against absorption of liquid. Securing the first end of the blank to a rotatable mandrel having a rotation axis (x) and an outer shape corresponding to the shape of the bottle. Rotating the mandrel to wind the blank spirally onto the mandrel, so that the longitudinal edges overlap applying heat-sealing energy and pressure, onto the overlapping longitudinal edges to form a bottle with hermetically sealed spiral seam and removing the mandrel from inside the bottle.
ROCK BAG
A rock bag and method of manufacturing same are provided herein. In one embodiment, the rock bag has a first set of opposed sides, each side of which is substantially the same dimensions, a second set of opposed sides, each side of which is substantially the same dimensions, and a bottom side formed to operatively couple with the first and second set of opposed sides such that the rock bag forms an enclosure with five sides and an opening opposite the bottom side. And the material forming the sides comprises between 40% and 90% rock content.
Vial with lid attachment mechanism
A re-sealable container is disclosed having a lid, a body, an attachment mechanism, and a seal. The seal may extend from, or be attached to, the lid and engage at least a portion of the body, such as the side wall, including the body sealing surface and/or the lip. The engagement of the seal and body creates a seal that prevents the ingress of moisture and ambient conditions into an interior space of the body. The attachment mechanism may retain the lid in a seated, closed position on the body. The configuration of the seal and attachment mechanism accommodate a degree of error in the joining and placement of the lid and body while allowing for both the formation of a seal between the lid and body and the locking of the lid when the lid is in a closed position.
Pulp Container with Fused Junction and Method of Making Same
Molded pulp containers with fused junctions and methods of making of same are provided. The present invention provides a pulp container, comprising a molded pulp body, wherein the body comprising a bottom and at least one side wall forming a wherein the at least one side wall comprising a upper rim, a neck, wherein the neck comprising a upper closure part and a lower rim, a fused junction, wherein a part of the upper rim of the at least one sidewall of the body and a part of the lower rim of the neck are aligned and fused together. The fused junction may be formed by ultrasonic welding.
BIOCOMPATIBLE LOW IMPACT CO2 EMISSION POLYMER COMPOSITIONS, PHARMACEUTICAL ARTICLES AND METHODS OF PREPARING SAME
A biobased polymer composition for pharmaceutical articles includes a low density polyethylene, in which at least a portion of ethylene is obtained from a renewable source of carbon. The biobased polymer composition exhibits an Emission Factor ranging from −3.5 to 0 kg CO2.sub.e/kg of the biobased polymer composition, and is biocompatible for use in pharmaceutical packaging. A pharmaceutical article includes the biobased polymer composition and has a volume ranging from 0.04 ml to 10000 ml.
