ATTACHMENT SYSTEMS FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Attachment systems for attaching a wearable electronic device to a user including a sizing band and a retaining band are disclosed. The sizing band includes at least one sizing eyelet and a band-insertable end. The retaining band includes at least a post for insertion into the sizing eyelet of the sizing band and a concealment aperture configured to receive the band-insertable end of the sizing band. On a bottom surface of the retaining band can be a recessed guide bed configured to guide the band-insertable end along the bottom surface of the retaining band. A wearable electronic device can couple to both the sizing band and the retaining band by accepting an end portion of each band into receiving channels extending into opposite sidewalls of the housing.

Coating rubber composition for conveyer belts

A coating rubber composition for a conveyer belt, comprising 15 to 75 parts by mass of carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 50 m.sup.2/g or less, 25 to 100 parts by mass of calcium carbonate and 40 parts or less by mass of an oil per 100 parts by mass of blended rubber comprising of natural rubber and at least one of either butadiene rubber or SBR. The above coating rubber composition for conveyer belts can improve not only the peel force which is a criterion of adhesiveness with the canvas cloth but also the power-saving capability of the conveyer belt while maintaining the durability thereof. Further, compounding of silica in an amount of 5 to 20 parts by mass can achieve a sufficient rubber attachability onto the canvas cloth when over-vulcanized, while maintaining the peel force when subjected to normal vulcanization.

ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC BELT AND ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
20180173136 · 2018-06-21 ·

An electrophotographic belt with the occurrence frequency of convex portions derived from zirconium-containing compound that cause scratches on a photosensitive drum being suppressed as much as possible is provided.

The electrophotographic belt has a resin layer comprising a melt-kneaded product comprising a thermoplastic polyester resin, a polyether ester amide, and a zirconium-containing compound, wherein the number of convex portions derived from the zirconium-containing compound per unit area (1.0 m.sup.2) on the outer surface of the electrophotographic belt is 10 pieces or less.

METHOD FOR MAKING A V-BELT
20180154597 · 2018-06-07 ·

A method for making a V-ribbed belt is made by inserting a first partial blank in the form of a base tube into a cylindrical vulcanization mold having a negative of a V-ribbed profile. The first partial blank is molded into a surrounding negative and thus provided with the V-ribbed profile without vulcanization. A second partial blank made as a top ply tube with a tension strand is inserted into the virtually completely molded-in base tube and is expanded under heat and pressure so that the top ply tube and the base tube are bonded to one another. Thereafter, the latter is molded into the surrounding negative of the vulcanization mold, and the top ply tube and the base tube are vulcanized to form a V-ribbed blank, whereafter the V-ribbed blank is removed from the vulcanization mold and is fed to the cutting device.
