11465378 · 2022-10-11 · ·

A method for preparing a shoe shell using a twice-opening-mold shoe-making mold comprises steps of preparing rubber for the shoe shell and cutting the rubber for the shoe shell into elongated or square sizes; heating the twice-opening-mold shoe-making mold to required temperatures within 3 hour; and opening the twice-opening-mold shoe-making mold with the bottom mold of the twice-opening-mold shoe-making mold being opened in a direction away from the mold main body of the twice-opening-mold shoe-making mold; putting the rubber for the shoe shell into the twice-opening-mold shoe-making mold; closing the bottom mold towards the mold main body, lifting the mold inner edge of the twice-opening-mold shoe-making mold to be stored into the mold main body until the bottom mold and the mold main body are closed, and performing a heating for 2-8 minutes; separating the bottom mold from the mold main body periodically during heating; reopening the twice-opening-mold shoe-making mold; taking out a semi-finished shoe shell; and trimming the semi-finished shoe shell.

Shoe sole with polyhedral cell and manufacturing method therefor

Provided is a shoe sole having a structure in which a polyhedral hollow cell made of a synthetic resin, configured as a polyhedron, and having an empty space formed therein is bonded with other polyhedral hollow cells by a hot melt adhesive part, wherein the hot melt adhesive part is provided between the multiple polyhedral hollow cells so that no voids are formed therebetween, and a plane structure of the polyhedral hollow cells bonded with each other has a shape of a human sole.

Biodegradable, industrially compostable, and recyclable injection molded microcellular flexible foams
11465377 · 2022-10-11 · ·

This document discloses a process for manufacturing recyclable injection molded microcellular foams for use in, footwear components, seating components, protective gear components, and watersport accessories. The process includes the steps of providing a thermoplastic polymer which comprises at least one monomer derived from depolymerized post-consumer plastic, inserting a fluid into a barrel of a molding apparatus. The fluid is introduced under temperature and pressure conditions to produce a super critical fluid. The process further includes mixing the thermoplastic polymer and super critical fluid so as to create a single phase solution, and injecting the single phase solution into a mold of an injection molding machine under gas counter pressure. The process further includes foaming the single phase solution by controlling the head and temperature conditions within the mold.

METHOD FOR MAKING AN ELASTICALLY YIELDING LAYER ON A RIGID SURFACE AND ARTICLE COMPRISING SUCH ELASTICALLY YIELDING LAYER
20220332026 · 2022-10-20 ·

A method for making an elastically yielding layer (14) on a rigid or substantially rigid support surface (16) of an article (12) comprises a step of providing a support surface (16) inside a mold (18) for injection molding provided with a molding cavity (20), comprising a die (22) and a punch (24). The support surface (16) is in use facing the elastically yielding layer (14). The support surface (16) forms a wall of the molding cavity (20). There is also a step of providing an insert (26) inside the molding cavity (20) and a step of closing the mold (18). A step of injection molding of a thermoplastic polymer above the support surface (16), between the support surface (16) and the mold (18) is also provided.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MULTICOLOR SHOE MATERIAL, SEMI-FINISHED SHOE MATERIAL, AND MULTICOLOR SHOE MATERIAL
20230191735 · 2023-06-22 · ·

A method of manufacturing a multicolor shoe material includes the following steps. Step S1: blank molds are provided, and a mold chamber of each of the blank molds is injected by one of the foamed materials in different colors to form unfoamed semi-finished products in different colors. Step S2: the semi-finished products are put into a foaming mold, when the foaming mold is preheated and completely closed, a ratio of a total volume of the semi-finished products to a volume of the mold chamber of the foaming mold is ranged between 0.96 and 1.04. Thus, the semi-finished products could be evenly foamed. After foaming, adjacent two of the semi-finished products could be connected by heat fusion to obtain the multicolor shoe material. Additionally, a semi-finished product and a multicolor shoe material are provided in the present invention.

Sole structure for article of footwear

A sole structure for an article of footwear includes an outer fabric layer and an inner chassis that is more rigid than the fabric layer. The fabric layer includes a plurality of fabric protrusions and the inner chassis includes a plurality of chassis protrusions that correspond to the fabric protrusions. Both the fabric protrusions and the chassis protrusions extend into cleat members of the sole structure.

Footwear plate

A plate for an article of footwear includes a substrate, a first strand portion attached to the substrate via first stitching, and a second strand portion disposed on the first layer. The first strand portion includes first segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a first layer on the substrate. The second strand portion includes second segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a second layer on the first layer.
