Seals for gored balloon
Aspects of the disclosure relate to techniques for manufacturing a balloon envelope. In one example, a first sheet of material for a first gore of the balloon envelope is provided. Lap seal material is arranged at least partially on the first sheet of material. A first heat seal is created between the lap seal material and the first sheet of material. A second sheet of material for a second gore of the balloon envelope is arranged over the first heat seal. A second heat seal is created between the lap seal material and the second sheet of material such that the lap seal material is configured to provide additional structural support to the balloon envelope.
Thermally Expandable Mandrel Sealers
It is sometimes advantageous to coat or seal the mandrel before laying on, coating, or wrapping the mandrel with composite plastic material. This invention provides improved coating with improved function that is easily removable from the cured product. The effective coating materials are applied directly to the mandrel as a coat or as a film or tape. Thermally expandable coat or film also reduces manufacturing costs for composite plastic products.
PROCESS AND DEVICE FOR IMPROVEMENT TREATMENT OF POLYESTER CORD AND RUBBER ADHESIVE
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of adhesion property improvement, particularly to a process and device for improvement treatment of a polyester cord and a rubber adhesive. By filling an extremely few amount of calcined gypsum powders into chloroprene rubber to be secondarily stirred and extruded while adding fatty acid calcium and an anti-aging agent and uniformly mixing a stirring and mixing component using a specific solvent, the adhesion behavior between the rubber adhesive and the polyester cord is increased, and the bonding strength between the rubber adhesive and the polyester cord is improved; furthermore, through mutual connection and installation of the extrusion modification component, stirring and mixing component and the compounding modification component, continuous operation of modification treatment of the polyester cord and the rubber adhesive, the structure is simple, and use is convenient.
Molded watersports and cold climate accessories
Watersports accessories, including but not limited to handwear and footwear, where a substantial portion of the accessory is molded in a three-dimensional mold with a soft, pliable, and durable material such as EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) or PU (Polyurethane) or similar foam blends that aid in the flexibility, durability, and comfort of the accessory.

VULCANIZATION OF DIP-MOLDED RUBBER ARTICLES WITH REDUCED MOLTEN MEDIA BATH TIMES
Pore-free rubber articles are prepared by dip-molding in a dipping medium that includes a vulcanizing agent, then partially-cured by immersing the dip former in a heated liquid bath that is chemically inert. A particularly effective liquid bath is a molten, nitrite free inorganic salt. The partially-cured rubber is then maintained at a desired curing temperature in a low/no oxygen heating oven to complete curing. Alternatively, upon removal from the molten salt bath, the latex film is quenched.
Vulcanization composition having reduced allergenic potential, and elastomeric articles formed therewith
The present invention generally relates to vulcanization compositions used to vulcanize elastomeric articles, where the vulcanization compositions have reduced allergenic potential as compared to elastomeric articles formed using vulcanization compositions having non-fugitive accelerators. The present invention also relates to elastomeric articles formed using the vulcanization compositions. The invention further relates to methods for making a reduced-allergenicity vulcanization composition, and to methods for using the vulcanization compositions to vulcanize elastomeric articles.
Method of manufacturing a garment equipped with lumens configured to hold air
A garment for the practice of water sports includes lumens for containing air. The garment is made of two superimposed neoprene sheets forming one or more lumens limited on their periphery by winding or angled welding lines.
