Golf ball manufacturing method
A method of manufacturing golf balls having a core and a cover of at least one layer encasing the core includes the steps of producing a core by molding and vulcanizing a rubber composition containing (A) a base rubber, (B) an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or a metal salt thereof, and (C) an organic peroxide; and heat-treating the core for 1 to 24 hours at between 175 and 300° C. Golf balls which undergo little energy loss and have a high initial velocity can be obtained by this method.
Ultralow-glossiness, ultralow-temperature resistant ASA resin composition and preparation method thereof
The present disclosure provides an ultralow-glossiness, ultralow-temperature resistant ASA resin composition and preparation method thereof. The composition includes the following components in parts by weight: 20˜60 parts of an acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate graft copolymer, 40˜80 parts of an acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer, 1˜20 parts of an ultralow-glossiness, low temperature resistant modifier, and 0.1˜5 parts of a processing aid. The ultralow-glossiness, low temperature resistant modifier includes a carrier copolymer, a fluorinated copolymer, a low-temperature flexibilizer, a coupling agent, fumed silica and an assistant. The ASA resin composition prepared by the present disclosure has an ultralow-glossiness, can be used to replace mold processing technology such leather marking and texturing, which greatly saves mold cost and processing production cost; and meanwhile it also has excellent low temperature resistance and can be applied in cases having requirements on low temperature resistance and low glossiness such as automobile parts, outdoor profiles, building materials and electrical appliances.
THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising a mixture of a. 5-50 wt. % of a block copolymer type thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPE-U) b. 5-50 of a block copolymer type thermoplastic co-polyester elastomer (TPE-C), and c. 10-60 wt. % of a thermoplastic styrenic block copolymer (TPE-S), wherein the wt. % is based on the total content of the elastomer composition. The elastomer composition might be efficiently connected with polar polymers so that corresponding polymer articles are formed.
NOVEL CARBAMATE ESTER COMPOUND AND ACRYLIC RUBBER COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME
A carbamate ester compound represented by the general formula:
Z—OCONH(CH.sub.2).sub.nNHCOO—Z [I]
wherein Z is [i], [ii], or [iii] below, and n is an integer of 2 to 10,
##STR00001##
(wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each independently a lower alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, R.sup.3 is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and a is 1 or 2). The carbamate ester compound is used as a vulcanizing agent for carboxyl group-containing acrylic rubber and improves the delay of the vulcanization rate by scorch suppression.
COMPOSITE CABLE
A composite cable includes a sheath surrounding an outer surface of a core at least including a plurality of thick electric wires each having a resin layer on an outer circumference of a conductor, and a plurality of thin electric wires each having a resin layer on an outer circumference of a conductor, in which the sheath includes a resin composition including base resin containing at least one type of ethylene rubber and styrene elastomer at 10 to 50 mass %.
Fluid transfer assembly, a fluid transfer system, and a related method
Fluid transfer assemblies for transferring fluid into or out of a single vessel and distributing the fluid to multiple other vessels are provided. The fluid transfer assemblies are customizable, substantially aseptic, and single-use. The fluid transfer assemblies may be manufactured by solidifying polymeric materials to form a body around a mandrel with protrusions engaged to fluid conduits and leaving recesses in the solidified polymeric material to stretch the resultant body and remove the mandrel with protrusions. The resultant fluid transfer assembly may be surrounded by a rigid housing and valves may be engaged with the conduits and/or body to control the fluid flow within the fluid transfer assembly.
Polyisoprene latex graphene composites and methods of making them
The present invention relates to a method of preparing reduced graphene oxide, incorporation of the reduced graphene oxide into polyisoprene latex to provide a polyisoprene latex graphene composite and elastomeric articles prepared using the polyisoprene latex-graphene composite. In particular, the reduction of graphene oxide is accomplished without the use of strong reducing agents and organic solvents and incorporation of the reduced graphene oxide into polyisoprene latex is accomplished using room temperature latex mixing method or hot maturation. The resultant composite exhibits good colloid stability, and polyisoprene latex films produced the composite exhibit good mechanical properties with improved ageing resistance.
System and method for continuously manufacturing cured membranes
A method of continuously manufacturing a cured membrane includes continuously compounding and mixing a vulcanizable rubber composition in a mixing extruder while continuously removing gasses from the vulcanizable rubber composition during mixing with a vacuum. The vulcanizable rubber composition may be continuously extruded to form an extrudate, which may be continuously calendered to form a green membrane. The green membrane may be continuously cured, such as by a hot air conveyor curing system, to form a cured membrane.
ENHANCED BIODEGRADABLE NITRILE RUBBER GLOVE AND METHODS FOR THE MANUFACTURE THEREOF
An enhanced biodegradable multilayer nitril rubber glove is disclosed, wherein the glove inner layer comprises a larger amount, more preferably a significant larger amount, of a biodegradable agent than an amount of a biodegradable agent present in the glove outer layer. After glove use such as in a hospital, disposal of the disclosed biodegradable glove is in particular intended, after shredding, for a fast thermophilic anaerobic digestion process.
