A MACHINE FOR 3D OBJECTS MANUFACTURE
Described is a high throughput machine for manufacture of large size 3D objects. The machine uses a combination of a large size main material dispensing head with a satellite lightweight material dispensing head. A motion system could move each material dispensing head along a path identical to the other dispensing head path or move it along a path different from the path of the other material dispensing head. Such complementary movement supports increase in machine throughput.
GOLF BALL DIMPLES EXHIBITING TWO DISTINCT HARDNESS REGIONS DERIVED FROM A SINGLE COVER LAYER AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
The present invention is directed to a golf ball having a cover in which the dimples have two distinct hardness regions. The cover of the present invention is formed from a castable formulation including at least one prepolymer that incorporates some degree of unsaturation in the backbone of the polymer, at least one curative, and at least one free radical initiator. The present invention also explores the methods of making such golf balls. The methods of the present invention allow for the production of a golf ball dimple with two distinct hardnesses to be formed using a single castable formulation.
METHOD FOR APPLYING A SEAL TO A PLATE
The invention relates to a method for applying a joint (2, 102) onto a plate (3), in particular a plate having shape defects. An edge of interest is defined on a portion of the plate (3) onto which the joint (2, 102) is intended to be applied. The plate (3) is then placed on a tool (4, 104) comprising a supporting element (5, 105) made of solid material and a supporting element (6, 106) made of flexible material, in such a way that the edge of interest rests on a portion of the supporting element made of flexible material. While the joint is applied onto the edge of interest, the plate is maintained in a predetermined reference position and the element made of flexible material is pushed against the plate, perpendicularly to an outer surface of the element made of flexible material, the outer surface being opposite to the surface on which the edge of interest rests.
HEAD REST
A headrest (400) is provided for a vehicle. The head rest (400) includes a front part (200) and a back part (100) with integrated lateral parts (104). The front part (200) and the back part (100) with integrated lateral parts (104) are formed in a complementary manner such that when they are assembled together, a closed space is formed in which a U-shaped curved support rod (300) can be inserted.
Adjustable fluid-filled lens assembly and method for assembling the same
A method of assembling an adjustable fluid-filled lens assembly comprising biaxially tensioning an elastomeric membrane to a surface tension of greater than 180 N/m, typically greater than 1000 N/m; thermally conditioning the tensioned membrane, e.g., for one hour at a temperature of about 80° C., to accelerate relaxation of the membrane; mounting the membrane to a peripheral support structure whilst maintaining the tension in the membrane; assembling the mounted membrane with one or more other components to form an enclosure with the membrane forming one wall of the enclosure; and thereafter filling the enclosure with a fluid. The membrane may be formed from an aromatic polyurethane, and the fluid may be a phenylated siloxane. In some embodiments, the membrane is able to hold a substantially constant surface tension of at least 180 N/m for a period of at least 12 months.
DECORATIVE MEMBER FOR STEERING WHEEL
A decorative member for a steering wheel which is used for being attached to a resin member formed around a ring core metal of a steering wheel. The decorative member includes a base layer attached to the resin member, a design part arranged on the base layer, and a heater arranged between the design part and the base layer. The base layer may include an extraction part at an intermediate position in a longitudinal direction thereof such that a lead wire connected with the heater is led out of the extraction part.
INTEGRAL SKIN FOAM MOLDED ARTICLE
An integral skin foam molded article includes: a skin formed by sewing a plurality of skin pieces in a hag shape; and a resin foam which is molded inside the skin integrally with the skin, wherein: at least one skin piece among the plurality of skin pieces has a surface material made of a natural leather, and includes a wadding material stacked on a back side of the surface material in a non-surface joined state and a lining material stacked on the wadding material; and in a shrinkage rate with respect to an in-plane compression load, a shrinkage rate of the liming material is smaller than a shrinkage rate of the wadding material.
Method and apparatuses for screening
Embodiments of the present disclosure include a screen basket apparatus includes a substantially vertical cylindrical frame and a synthetic screening surface secured to the frame. The synthetic screening surface may be configured to separate carbon or resin from a slurry of a carbon-in-leach, carbon-in-pulp, resin-in-leach, or resin-in-pulp material as fluid flows from outside to inside the screen basket apparatus such that carbon or resin is retained on an external surface of the synthetic screening surface. The cylindrical frame may be a grid frame and the synthetic screening surface may include a plurality of replaceable screen assemblies attached to the grid frame. The grid frame may include a plurality of openings and each of the plurality of openings is configured to receive a respective one of the plurality of replaceable screen assemblies. The synthetic screening surface may include injected molded thermoplastics, thermoset polyurethanes, and/or other polymeric materials.
Methods for producing three-dimensional objects with apparatus having feed channels
A method of forming a three-dimensional object, wherein said three-dimensional object is an insert for use between a helmet and a human body, is described. The method may use a polymerizable liquid, or resin, useful for the production by additive manufacturing of a three-dimensional object, comprising a mixture of (i) a light polymerizable liquid first component, and (ii) a second solidifiable component that is different from said first component.
VEHICLE INTERIOR PART AND HEATED MOULD COMPRESSION FORMING PROCESS THEREOF
A vehicle interior part includes a substrate, a first outer layer, a second outer layer, an upper reinforcement layer, a lower reinforcement layer, and a bottom fabric layer, where a first surface and a second surface of the substrate are bonded to a first surface of the upper reinforcement layer and a first surface of the lower reinforcement layer, respectively, a second surface of the upper reinforcement layer is bonded to a first surface of the first outer layer, a second surface of the first outer layer is bonded to the second outer layer, and a second surface of the lower reinforcement layer is bonded to the bottom fabric layer.
