COMPOSITE TOOLS AND METHODS FOR FABRICATING COMPOSITE TOOLS
Methods for fabricating composite tools and composite tools are provided. In an exemplary embodiment, a method for fabricating a composite tool includes providing a master mold and forming a low temperature cured resin laminate overlying the master mold. The low temperature cured resin laminate is heated and compressed to form a cured low temperature cured resin laminate, the low temperature cured resin laminate heated to a first temperature. The cured low temperature cured resin laminate is removed from the master mold and a high temperature cured resin laminate is formed overlying the cured low temperature cured resin laminate. The high temperature cured resin laminate is heated and compressed to form a cured high temperature cured resin laminate. The high temperature cured resin laminate is heated to a second temperature, wherein the second temperature is higher than the first temperature.
MANUFACTURE OF DEGRADABLE POLYCYANURATE BULK MOLDING COMPOSITIONS
A process for the manufacture of a degradable polycyanurate bulk molding composition includes: contacting a liquid cyanate ester monomer with an additive material and a polymerization catalyst to form a reaction mixture; maintaining a temperature of the reaction mixture at about 80° C. to about 100° C. to form a polycyanurate product having a viscosity of about 120 to about 200 centipoise at 23° C.; heating a reinforcing filler at a temperature of about 50 to about 150° C. to form a pre-heated reinforcing filler; and blending the polycyanurate product with the pre-heated reinforcing filler to form the degradable polycyanurate bulk molding composition. The bulk molding composition can be used to form a degradable polycyanurate article.
Binders and associated products
The present invention relates to a water-soluble pre-reacted binder composition, a method of its manufacture, a use of said pre-reacted binder composition, a method of manufacturing a collection of matter bound by a polymeric binder, a binder solution or dispersion comprising said pre-reacted binder composition, as well as products comprising the pre-reacted binder composition in a cured state.
ANTI-STATIC COMPOSITIONS
Various embodiments disclosed relate to anti-static compositions and gloves made from the same. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a doped polyaniline comprising a dopant that is a polyacrylic acid; a polymethacrylic acid; a sulfonatocalixarene; a cyclodextrin sulfate; a compound having the structure:

L.sup.1 is substituted or unsubstituted (C.sub.1-C.sub.10)hydrocarbylene. L.sup.2 is chosen from a bond, —O—, —O—C(O)—, and —NH—C(O)—, and n is about 1 to about 100,000; a salt thereof; or a combination thereof.
NITROGEN-CONTAINING POROUS CARBON MATERIAL, AND CAPACITOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A nitrogen-containing porous carbon material, and a capacitor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. A carbon material, a macromolecular material and a modified material are mixed into a preform. The modified material includes nitrogen. A formation process is performed on the preform to obtain a formed object. High-temperature sintering is performed on the formed object to decompose and remove a part of the macromolecular material, while the other part of the macromolecular material and the carbon material together form a backbone structure including a plurality of pores. As such, the nitrogen becomes attached to the backbone structure to form a hydrogen-containing functional group to further obtain the nitrogen-containing porous carbon material. The nitrogen-containing porous carbon material may form a first nitrogen-containing porous carbon plate and a second nitrogen-containing porous carbon plate, which are placed in seawater to form a storage capacitor for seawater.
METHOD OF PRODUCING A DECORATIVE STRUCTURAL PLASTIC PART
A method is provided for producing a decorative structural plastic part. That method includes the steps of two-shot molding a structural plastic layer with a decoration-compatible plastic layer, mechanically bonding the structural plastic layer with the decoration-compatible plastic layer to form an integral plastic part body and applying a decoration to the decoration-compatible plastic layer following molding.

Build materials for 3D printing
Polymerizable liquids are described herein which, in some embodiments, can produce 3D printed articles of high resolution and desirable mechanical properties. In one aspect, a polymerizable liquid comprises an acrylate component, a polymeric additive, and a monomeric curing agent, wherein the acrylate component and monomeric curing agent are copolymerizable upon exposure to light. In being copolymerizable, the acrylate component and monomeric curing agent can form a copolymer. As described father herein, the monomeric curing agent can enable further reaction of the copolymer with one or more crosslinking species to link the copolymer with one more polymeric networks.
