Bug-removal vacuum machine
An insect killing system has a blower drawing air entraining insects from below a vacuum machine, impelling the air upward, a flange oriented horizontally at an outlet to the blower, and a killing assembly affixed to the flange. The system is characterized in that the killing assembly comprises a plurality of panels of a common width, having an upper edge, a lower edge, and opposite side edges defining an area for each panel, the area closed by a relatively thin perforated sheet material exhibiting a matrix of through holes, individual panels affixed by the bottom edge to the flange on opposite sides, with each panel oriented by a steep angle from vertical, with each panel in the plurality parallel to and spaced apart from one or more adjacent panels, such that the area defined by an inside diameter of the flange is covered by the plurality of adjacent parallel panels.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING AN INSECT SWARM USING DRONES
This disclosure relates to system and method for managing an insect swarm using a plurality of drones. The method includes detecting an insect swarm. The method may further include tracking a movement of the insect swarm. The method further includes communicating, with remaining of the plurality of drones, to dynamically align in a position based on the tracking so as to make a drone formation. The method further includes magnetizing, by at least some of the plurality of drones, one or more drone couplers for electromagnetically coupling the at least some of the plurality of drones with each other as per the drone formation. The method further includes casting, by each of the plurality of drones, a net to trap insects in the insect swarm. The method further includes supplying, by each of the plurality of drones, a high voltage to the net to decapacitate the insects.

Bug-removal vacuum machine
A bug-removal vacuum machine has a horizontal deck, and a structure providing a trapezoidal-shaped air passage directing insects drawn by vacuum-induced air flow through an electrified killing matrix, and into a collection tray.

Bug-Removal Vacuum Machine
A vacuum machine has a rectangular deck, having a centerline, a width and a length, an underside and an upper side, a front edge and a rear edge, and side edges. Sidewalls extend below the deck along the side edges. There is an opening through the deck, substantially centered between the front edge and the rear edge, and between the sidewalls, a powered air blower coupled through a plenum above the deck to the opening, such that operating the blower draws air through the opening from beneath the deck, a killing mechanism disposed at an outlet from the blower, adapted to kill insects entrained in air drawn through the plenum, and a horizontally-oriented passage coupled to the outlet from the blower, directing air having entrained insects dead or alive away from the machine. The machine travels in the direction of the centerline advancing the first front edge of the deck.
