Producing tactile gelatin objects of a wide variety of shapes
An artistic or utilitarian (as opposed to ingestible) object with a desirable tactile sensation and a soft, yet firm, transparent texture is produced from more than 250 bloom gelatin (e. g. 300 bloom gelatin). The method includes producing a thin positive silicone mold corresponding to an artistic or utilitarian three-dimensional object to be produced; then pouring a mixture of water, dye, and more than 250 bloom gelatin into the positive silicone mold; refrigerating the gelatin mixture for a time and at a temperature sufficient for it to harden into an artistic or utilitarian three-dimensional gelatin object; and then demolding the object.
CONCENTRATED AQUEOUS SILK FIBROIN SOLUTION AND USE THEREOF
The present invention provides for concentrated aqueous silk fibroin solutions and an all-aqueous mode for preparation of concentrated aqueous fibroin solutions that avoids the use of organic solvents, direct additives, or harsh chemicals. The invention further provides for the use of these solutions in production of materials, e.g., fibers, films, foams, meshes, scaffolds and hydrogels.
ACID RESISTANT CAPSULES
The present invention relates to new acid resistant hard pharmaceutical capsules, a process for their manufacture and use of such capsules particularly but not exclusively for oral administration of pharmaceuticals, veterinary products, food and dietary supplements to humans or animals. The capsules of the invention are obtained by aqueous compositions comprising a water soluble film forming polymer and gellan gum in a mutual weight ratio of 4 to 15 weight parts of gellan gum for 100 weight parts of film forming polymer.
Blended fiber pad
A system for creating a blended fiber pad made from a mixture of alpaca fiber and a selected fiber. The fiber pad is used for bedding products, cushions, toppers and furniture. The system includes a washing station for cleaning and processing the fiber mixture and a pad forming machine. The washing station is used to thoroughly wash, clean and dry the alpaca fiber and the selected fiber. The washing station includes a series of wash tanks, squeeze pads and drying racks. The dried alpaca fiber and dried selected fiber are then baled and fed into the pad forming machine. The pad forming machine includes a plurality of individual sections with a series of conveyor belts. The conveyor belts are used for conveying the fiber mixture and a bond material from one station to the next and creating a finished blended fiber pad.
IN SITU MINERALIZATION OF 3D PRINTED METASTABLE CALCIUM SPECIES
The present invention refers to a biomimetic minerizable 3D-printing ink, a method for the production of such a biomimetic minerizable 3D-printing ink, a method for the production of a biomineralized 3D-printed article, a biomineralized 3D-printed article as well as the use of a crystallization trigger which is an oligopeptide selected from the group comprising an oligopeptide of the HABP family and an oligopeptide of the P11-family for 3D printing.

SKIN GRAFT PRODUCT
An apparatus and method for the production of substitute skin that advantageously reduces the amount of donor dermal cells needed from non-wound areas of a patient having a wound to be auto-grafted is reduced by using all of the harvested skin cells. A 3D printer is used to construct a wound graft product from the harvested skin cells without wasting any of the harvested skin cells. In a case of an irregularly shaped wound, wastage of harvested skin associated with trimming is avoided.
AUTO-GRAFTING
An apparatus and method for the production of substitute skin that advantageously reduces the amount of donor dermal cells needed from non-wound areas of a patient having a wound to be auto-grafted is reduced by using all of the harvested skin cells. A 3D printer is used to construct a wound graft product from the harvested skin cells without wasting any of the harvested skin cells. In a case of an irregularly shaped wound, wastage of harvested skin associated with trimming is avoided.
PROTEIN FILM PRODUCTION METHOD
This technique provides a protein film production method which can form a protein film, with denaturation of protein being prevented. The protein film production method includes mixing a protein with an aqueous solvent, to thereby form an aqueous protein solution PAS1, and treating the aqueous protein solution PAS1 with plasma generated by a plasma generator 100. The plasma generated by the plasma generator 100 has a plasma density of 110.sup.13 cm.sup.3 to 110.sup.15 cm.sup.3.
