ANTI-MIGRATION MICROPATTERNED STENT COATING
An endoprosthesis has an expanded state and a contracted state, the endoprosthesis includes a stent having an inner surface defining a lumen, having an outer surface, and defining a plurality of apertures through the outer surface, wherein the apertures are arranged in a micropattern; and a coating (e.g., polymeric coating) attached to the outer surface of the stent. The coating includes a base and a tissue engagement portion including a second surface facing outwardly from the stent, the tissue engagement portion including a structure that defines a plurality of holes extending inwardly from the second surface toward the base. The holes are arranged in a micropattern. When the endoprosthesis is expanded to the expanded state in a lumen defined by a vessel wall, the structure applies a force that may reduce stent migration by creating an interlock between the vessel wall and the endoprosthesis.
COMPOSITE STRUCTURES CONSTRUCTED OF WOUND TUBULAR BRAIDING
A system for constructing a composite structure includes a braiding machine, a winding tool and a forming machine. The composite structure is constructed of a wound tubular braiding. The wound tubular braiding is constructed of a biaxial or triaxial tubular braid of unidirectional tape.

Daylighting sheet, daylighting panel and roll-up daylighting screen
An object is to provide a daylighting sheet which efficiently performs daylighting and in which, when the daylighting sheet is applied to a window of a building or the like, it is possible to see an outdoor side. The daylighting sheet includes a translucent base material layer; and a light deflection layer that is formed on the base material layer, and the light deflection layer includes: light transmission portions that are aligned along one surface of the base material layer so as to be able to transmit light, each of which including a groove at a portion being in a light entering side in a position where the light transmission portion is arranged in the opening portion of a building; and light deflection portions that are formed between the light transmission portions and filled with a material whose refractive index is lower than that of the light transmission portions.
COMPOSITE MOULDING MATERIALS
A method of manufacture of a composite moulding material (1100) comprising a fibrous layer (1102) and a graphene/graphitic dispersion (1104) applied to the fibrous layer (1102) at one or more localised regions (1106) over a surface (1108) of the fibrous layer(1102) in which the graphene/graphitic dispersion (1104) is comprised of graphene nanoplates, graphene oxide nanoplates, reduced graphene oxide nanoplates, bilayer graphene nanoplates, bilayer graphene oxide nanoplates, bilayer reduced graphene oxide nanoplates, few-layer graphene nanoplates, few-layer graphene oxide nanoplates, few-layer reduced graphene oxide nanoplates, graphene/graphite nanoplates of 6 to 14 layers of carbon atoms, graphite flakes with nanoscale dimensions and 40 or less layers of carbon atoms, graphite flakes with nanoscale dimensions and 25 to 30 layers of carbon atoms, graphite flakes with nanoscale dimensions and 25 to 35 layers of carbon atoms, graphite flakes with nanoscale dimensions and 20 to 35 layers of carbon atoms, or graphite flakes with nanoscale dimensions and 20 to 40 layers of carbon atoms, in which the dispersion (1104) is applied to the fibrous layer (1102) using at least one valvejet print head (1112).
Perforated top curl for plastic container
A plastic container is provided having a sidewall, a downwardly extending upper lip, and a perforated line defined at a top edge of the container where the lip and sidewall are joined. The sidewall and lip may be formed from a container body constructed of a single sheet of material that is wrapped such that marginal edge portions of the blank are brought together in overlapping fashion to form a side seam. When the sidewall and lip are formed from such a blank of material, the perforated line is formed a specified distance below a top edge of such blank. The perforated line reduces the amount of force, heat and lubricant required in order to form (e.g., curl, roll, fold or bend) the upper lip of the container. The slits of the perforated line may extend across a width of the blank in either a uniform or variable fashion.
Tool with conformal cooling
A method of providing a tool with a conformal cooling passage includes rough machining a cavity generally corresponding to a manufactured part shape using CAD data. Conformal cooling slots are cut in the cavity using the CAD data. The conformal cooling slots are welded shut using the CAD data to provide conformal cooling passages. A class A surface is machined over the conformal cooling passage and corresponds to a finished manufactured part shape using the CAD data.
Two-color molded article
A two-color molded article includes a first resin part, and a second resin part in contact with the first resin part so as to at least partially overlap the first resin part. The second resin part includes a single layer region provided between a first region and a second region and provided in a penetrating portion formed between a first portion and a second portion. The single layer region has a joint portion in contact with a bent portion. The joint portion is formed in a convex shape with respect to the bent portion.
Lacrosse head pocket and related method of manufacture
A lacrosse head pocket and a related method of manufacture are provided to facilitate consistent, repeatable and/or custom manufacture of lacrosse equipment. The pocket can be constructed from multiple different sections joined with one another, or can be knitted, weaved or otherwise assembled on an automated assembly machine from strands, and/or can be formed as a unitary textile material having regions/sections with different physical and/or mechanical properties. The pocket can be integrally molded within portions of a lacrosse head to eliminate manually constructed connections between the pocket and lacrosse head. The lacrosse head can be integrally molded with a lacrosse handle to provide a one-piece unitary lacrosse stick. Related methods of manufacturing also are provided.
ROTATIONAL MOLDED GOLF CLUB HEAD
Wood-type golf clubs and/or golf club heads include: (a) a golf club head base member including a face member having a ball striking face; and (b) a polymeric body member engaged with the golf club head base member, wherein the polymeric body member is formed via a rotational molding process (or other centrifugal force inducing molding process) and/or engaged with the golf club head base member via a rotational molding process (or other centrifugal force inducing molding process). The polymeric body member forms at least a portion of a crown member of the club head in some structures.
