DAYLIGHTING SHEET, DAYLIGHTING PANEL AND ROLL-UP DAYLIGHTING SCREEN
An object is to provide a daylighting sheet which efficiently performs daylighting and in which, when the daylighting sheet is applied to a window of a building or the like, it is possible to see an outdoor side.
The daylighting sheet includes a translucent base material layer; and a light deflection layer that is formed on the base material layer, and the light deflection layer includes: light transmission portions that are aligned along one surface of the base material layer so as to be able to transmit light, each of which including a groove at a portion being in a light entering side in a position where the light transmission portion is arranged in the opening portion of a building; and light deflection portions that are formed between the light transmission portions and filled with a material whose refractive index is lower than that of the light transmission portions.
Fabric and die design for divided conduit
A method of forming a conduit having at least one strip-shaped fabric substrate dividing the conduit into channels. The method contains obtaining an extrusion die configured to form the wall of the conduit and a slot configured for receipt of a strip-shaped fabric substrate and introducing a strip-shaped fabric substrate into the slot. The strip-shaped textile is air permeable and contains enlarged regions at the first and second longitudinal edges. Molten polymer is introduced at a first point in the extrusion die and at the first point the slot and the area configured to form the wall of the conduit are not in communication. The slot is exposed to the molten polymer at a point between the first point and the die exit forming the first polymeric layer of the conduit such that the first longitudinal and second longitudinal edges of the strip-shaped fabric substrate embed into the molten polymer.
Composite bow centralizer
A centralizer can be produced from a process comprising forming a plurality of composite bow spring from a fiber and a resin, curing the composite bow springs in a desired shape to form a plurality of cured bow springs, disposing a first portion of a resin-wetted fiber about a cylindrical mandrel to form a plurality of collars, disposing the plurality of cured bow springs onto the mandrel with the bow spring ends in contact with the first portion of resin-wetted fiber, disposing a second portion of the resin-wetted fiber about the cylindrical mandrel, curing the collars to form a cured centralizer, and pressing the mandrel out of the cured centralizer.
Lacrosse head pocket and related method of manufacture
A lacrosse head pocket and a related method of manufacture are provided to facilitate consistent, repeatable and/or custom manufacture of lacrosse equipment. The pocket can be constructed from multiple different sections joined with one another, or can be knitted, weaved or otherwise assembled on an automated assembly machine from strands, and/or can be formed as a unitary textile material having regions/sections with different physical and/or mechanical properties. The pocket can be integrally molded within portions of a lacrosse head to eliminate manually constructed connections between the pocket and lacrosse head. The lacrosse head can be integrally molded with a lacrosse handle to provide a one-piece unitary lacrosse stick. Related methods of manufacturing also are provided.
BIO-INK PRINTING
The present disclosure is drawn to bio-ink printer components, methods of printing bio-inks, and multi-fluid live cell printing systems. In one example, a bio-ink printer component can include a bio-ink and a bio-ink ejector fluidly connected or connectable to the bio-ink. The bio-ink can include a buffer solution that is suitable for live cells, and a polymer that includes polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl sulfate, polyethylene glycol, polyester, poly(dimethylsiloxane), cellulose, polysaccharide, or a combination thereof. The bio-ink ejector can include an ejection nozzle and a thermal resistor positioned to heat the bio-ink to form a vapor bubble to eject a droplet of bio-ink from the ejection nozzle.
METHOD FOR INSERT MOLDING A SHIELDING PLATE INTO A HOUSING PORTION OF AN ACCESS PORT
A method for insert molding a shielding plate into a housing portion of an access port includes the steps of: positioning the shielding plate on a first corepin of a mold tool having a cavity, clamping the shielding plate between the first corepin and a second corepin of the mold tool, injecting plastic into the cavity so as to fill the cavity, and retracting the second corepin to create a void and subsequently injecting more plastic so as to fill the void. The molded housing portion of the access port forms a reservoir for receiving fluid. The housing portion includes an open end in which a septum is arranged, an exit passage, and a wall. The shielding plate includes a circular portion having a periphery. An annular region of the shielding plate has a bent portion with an axially extending portion formed on the annular region.
THERMOSET CERAMIC COMPOSITIONS, INORGANIC POLYMER COATINGS, INORGANIC POLYMER MOLD TOOLING, INORGANIC POLYMER HYDRAULIC FRACKING PROPPANTS, METHODS OF PREPARATION AND APPLICATIONS THEREFORE
Thermoset ceramic compositions and a method of preparation of such compositions. The compositions are advanced organic/inorganic hybrid composite polymer ceramic alloys. The material combines strength, hardness and high temperature performance of technical ceramics with the strength, ductility, thermal shock resistance, density, and easy processing of the polymer. Consisting of a branched backbone of silicon, alumina, and carbon, the material undergoes sintering at 7 to 300 centigrade for 2 to 94 hours from water at a pH between 0 to 14, humidity of 0 to 100%, with or without vaporous solvents.

Backplate, support frame for backlight unit, backlight unit and display device
The present invention relates to the display technology field, and provides a backplate, a plastic-iron integrated structure, a backlight unit, and a display device. The backplate is provided with a first through hole, and the first through hole has an inner wall and an outer wall which form a projection structure on the backplate. When the backplate is bonded with a plastic frame to form the plastic-iron integrated structure, the plastic frame not only contacts the inner wall of the first through hole, but also contacts the surface of the projection structure, thus increasing the contact area between the plastic frame and the backplate, and increasing the bonding force between the plastic frame and the backplate. Even when the plastic frame shrinks in case of fluctuations in temperature and/or humidity, the plastic frame is not easily separated from the backplate, and the stability of the formed plastic-iron integrated structure is improved.
