THERMOSET CERAMIC COMPOSITIONS, INORGANIC POLYMER COATINGS, INORGANIC POLYMER MOLD TOOLING, INORGANIC POLYMER HYDRAULIC FRACKING PROPPANTS, METHODS OF PREPARATION AND APPLICATIONS THEREFORE
Thermoset ceramic compositions and a method of preparation of such compositions. The compositions are advanced organic/inorganic hybrid composite polymer ceramic alloys. The material combines strength, hardness and high temperature performance of technical ceramics with the strength, ductility, thermal shock resistance, density, and easy processing of the polymer. Consisting of a branched backbone of silicon, and alumina, with highly coordinated Si—O—Si or Al—O—Al bonds, the material undergoes sintering at 7 to 300 centigrade for 2 to 94 hours from water at a pH between 0 to 14, humidity of 0 to 100%, with or without vaporous solvents.
Anti-Microbial Fiber Reinforced Plastic
In-aircraft seats include plastic components having anti-microbial, metallic reinforcing fibers such as copper or silver. Copper or silver wires are embedded into the plastic at the time or molding to provide both structural reinforcement and anti-microbial properties. At the time of molding, copper or silver wires are disposed in a plastic mold prior to plastic application to ensure the metallic wires are generally disposed toward the surface of the molded part.
ROTATIONAL MOLDED GOLF CLUB HEAD
Wood-type golf clubs and/or golf club heads include: (a) a golf club head base member including a face member having a ball striking face; and (b) a polymeric body member engaged with the golf club head base member, wherein the polymeric body member is formed via a rotational molding process (or other centrifugal force inducing molding process) and/or engaged with the golf club head base member via a rotational molding process (or other centrifugal force inducing molding process). The polymeric body member forms at least a portion of a crown member of the club head in some structures.
DECORATIVE MEMBER FOR COSMETICS CONTAINER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A decoration member for a cosmetic container including: a color expression layer having a light reflecting layer and a light absorbing layer provided on the light reflecting layer; and a substrate provided on one surface of the color expression layer.
Device and method of manufacturing a structure made of a curable material by means of molding
A device for varyingly irradiating by means of ray shaping is described. Furthermore, a method of manufacturing a structure made of a curable material by means of molding is described. In a first step of the method, a molding tool is arranged above a surface such that the curable material abuts on the surface and a molding surface, facing the surface, of the molding tool in a region between the molding tool and the surface and such that further curable material may continue to flow to the region. In a second step, the curable material is irradiated in the region in a locally varying manner such that the ray experiences ray shaping in an optical channel and such that the curable material cures at different speeds in a laterally varying manner.
Method of producing fiber reinforced composite material
A method of producing a fiber reinforced composite material satisfies condition 1: a thermosetting resin base material (B) includes a thermosetting resin (a) and a nonwoven fabric-shaped base material (a thermosetting resin base material satisfying the condition 1 is referred to as a thermosetting resin base material (B-1)); and condition 2: the thermosetting resin base material (B) is a base material including the thermosetting resin (a), and a porous sheet-shaped base material (b) or a film-shaped base material (c), the thermosetting resin (a) has a viscosity of 1,000 Pa.Math.s or more at 40° C., and the thermosetting resin (a) has a minimum viscosity of 10 Pa.Math.s or less during heating from 30° C. at a temperature rise rate of 1.5° C./min (a thermosetting resin base material satisfying the condition 2 is referred to as a thermosetting resin base material (B-2)).
Decoration member and method for manufacturing same
The present application relates to a decoration member including a substrate layer having a convex structure or a concave structure arranged two-dimensionally, and a method for preparing the decoration member.
Imprint apparatus and method of manufacturing article
The present invention provides an imprint apparatus that performs an imprint process of forming a pattern of an imprint material on a processing target region on a substrate by using a mold, including a digital mirror device including two-dimensionally arrayed mirror elements and configured to irradiate the substrate with light reflected by the mirror elements, a measurement unit configured to measure, for each of a plurality of segments obtained by dividing a region in which the mirror elements are arrayed so as to include a plurality of the mirror elements, a light amount of light emitted from each segment, and a control unit configured to control the mirror elements included in each segment based on a measurement result of the measurement unit.
RHEOLOGICALLY DEFINED LIGNIN COMPOSITIONS
Anthropogenic derivatives of native lignin are disclosed, having specific viscoelastic metrics which selectively facilitate the processing of these lignin derivatives into particular finished products. Such lignin derivatives are characterized by rheological metrics that include minimum storage modulus (G′.sub.min), onset of softening temperature (T.sub.1), and/or cross-over temperature (T.sub.2) from predominately viscous to predominately elastic behaviour.
